I am a very patient tutor, I love getting to know my students and talking to them about various topics. If I am here as an Italian tutor it is above all because I love making Italian culture known and being able to transmit it to people from all over the world! My passion for languages and the desire to know new cultures led me to live a few months in Ireland. There I was able to improve my level of English, achieving the B2 level of the Ielts certification. Also, I'm learning Spanish from scratch, so I know how it feels when starting to learn a new language. But don't worry, with my method you will find yourself speaking Italian sooner than you think!

I'm an informal teacher. I think people learn more in an enjoyable environment in which they are at ease, in this way they will transform studying into a fun activity. I like to understand each student they're needs and what best works for them. I'm a very flexible person so I'm going to change my attitude based on my students.

My solid experience in language learning has equipped me with tricks and hacks to learn effectively and quickly. Throughout my studies, I've become aware of the learning process in different languages and I know what it takes to achieve the best results. But no pressure! Cerco di capire quali sono i desideri e le difficoltà dell'alunno (timidezza, scarsità di vocabolario...), per superarle assieme.

I am a cheerful person and I try to give joy to my students. I think that learning without realising it is the best way to reach a goal. I know that every single student takes their own time to learn. I am very patient and I always wait for an answer. I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident. Languages, under any perspective, are my main passion, and Italian is the common theme of my academic studies, my working experiences and many of my hobbies. During the last 8 years I have been teaching Italian as L2 both in Italy and Spain and it is a privilege to see my students improving their skills with time.

As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.

I love teaching, it's something I've always wanted to do. In high school I attended Liceo classico: a specific kind of high school focused on learning Italian grammar, Italian literature, Latin, Ancient Greek, history and philosophy. That's why I've got a strong grammar basis and a deep knowledge of Italian literature as well. I think mistakes are a very important part of the learning process, you don't have to get discouraged from them.
