Fin dal mio percorso universitario ho insegnato ad altre persona la lingua e non solo la lingua, anche materie scientifiche. Questo mi ha permesso di consolidare negli anni un metodo didattico efficace e performante. Since my university career, I have taught people language and not only language, but also scientific subjects. This has enabled me to consolidate an effective and efficient teaching method over the years.

I have experience teaching since I was in school, as I was tutoring younger students in Maths and English. Later, after I moved to Australia, I started pairing with English native speakers to tutor each other in our respective languages. That's when I realised how much fun it was to teach and share my native language! I know that learning a foreign language is hard, for some harder than for others. I also know how standardised language tests can be and absolute nightmare. But remember that every time you take action by reading an article in Italian, watching an Italian movie, or by attending a class, you make a step forward. Be proud of yourself and keep going!

I've been working as a language teacher since 2014. I've been teaching to students of almost all ages and educational degrees, from secondary school to university, and in language schools both in Italy and Spain. I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on specific aspects of the language when needed. I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy and Spain. For this reason I love to use movies, musics and so on during the classes, and I hope that our lessons will give you a taste of these countries. I'm not a strict teacher, I just want to help you improve your italian without stress. I would like to make you talk fluently and teach you idiomatic expressions and correct your accent. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts.

Ho insegnato italiano per quattro anni agli studenti stranieri della mia università e ho anche dato lezioni private sia ad adolescenti e a professionisti. Sono diplomato in ragioneria e ho dato molte ripetizioni su questo settore, quindi posso aiutare gli studenti che intendono migliorare la capacità di esprimersi in un contesto di business. So bene quanto possa essere difficile imparare una nuova lingua e per questo le mie lezioni sono sempre basate sulle richieste specifiche dello studente.

I am a very patient and easy going teacher. I am flexible and can adapt to the student needing. I like to make people at ease, because I understand what it means to be new to a language and not feeling confident in speaking it. To be considered that, since my classes are based on conversational practise, I only teach to students from A2 level. What I usually do is to set up a goal with my student in the first lessons, which can be as different as improving the use of grammar or working on the pronunciation. This helps me to understand the direction to take with my teaching technique, but also helps you to have a clear and concrete objective to reach.

I have a Master Degree in teaching Italian and the CELTA certification to teach English, so I can truly understand the differences between the two languages and I can help you avoid translation errors and recognize false friends. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to combine the two things I love the most - travelling and teaching and in fact I taught languages in several countries: Uk, China, Germany and now Italy. My lessons are based on conversation and I'll make sure to give you the language tools in order to speak Italian or English from day one. I love building lasting relationships with my students and being able to see them develop their language skills.

I have been studying foreign languages for many years, and I am still in this process. Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. The inspiration for this job came to me while I was a volunteer in Peru, in a small school in the Andes. There, I realized that I enjoyed learning other languages and that I could help others to do so, as I could speak about languages for hours! Since I started working I have never stopped! I looked for and found work in Italy, France and Romania, in different schools and international institution, like the Istituto italiano di cultura og Bucharest.

As a language learner myself, I know exactly what it feels like to go through the ebbs and flows on the path to fluency. It is completely normal!
