I have several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreigners, both to children and adults. Ho diversi anni di esperienza nell'insegnamento dell'italiano a stranieri, sia a bambini che adulti.

Sono tutor d'italiano da più di 6 mesi su italki (anche se ho avuto altre esperienze in precedenza) e ho avuto la fortuna di crescere continuamente seguendo alcuni dei miei studenti fin dall'inizio del loro percorso su questa piattaforma. E' un esperienza bellissima. A proposito di questo ringrazio con il cuore Linda, bravissima studentessa francese da cui ogni giorno imparo; sì, imparo perché quello con lo studente lo considero un viaggio con uno splendido compagno. Sai qual'è l'aspetto che più amo d'insegnare come tutor su italki? L'incontro con altre persone. Ora più che mai mi rendo conto di come tutti siamo interconnessi e di come siano affascinanti le persone ed i loro potenziali.

Non sono un professionista dell'insegnamento pertanto mi propongo esclusivamente come tutor ma ho ottime capacità didattiche, parlo e scrivo in italiano corretto. Vivo nella città più importante al mondo per il suo passato da "caput mundi" e posso trasmetterti tutto il nostro orgoglio oltre a raccontarti tutto il nostro passato. Posso altresì guidarti attraverso la nostra grammatica e la nostra dialettica a parlare di qualsiasi argomento tu abbia bisogno di approfondire. Posso insegnarti con modalità diverse per qualsiasi tuo scopo o piacere.

Mi è sempre piaciuto trasmettere le conoscenze linguistiche in modo comprensibile, arricchendole con esempi e connessioni o con brevi incursioni anche su altri argomenti purché siano funzionali alla nozione. Lascio parlare l'interlocutore cercando di non interromperlo e aiutandolo solo quando necessario, raccogliendo annotazioni sulle eventuali correzioni da comunicare con calma alla fine della conversazione o della frase.

Sono una docente qualificata di italiano come lingua straniera, ho molte esperienze in giro per il mondo con grandi e piccoli. Ho una laurea triennale in Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale, con lo studio di inglese e spagnolo, successivamente ho scelto di specializzarmi in Didattica dell'Italiano a Stranieri e ho ottenuto la certificazione Ditals. Tramite la mia università, Università per Stranieri di Siena, ho avuto l'opportunità di fare esperienze lavorative all'estero: a Boston in una middle school, a Londra con adulti dipendenti della banche HSBCe SwISS bank, a Città del Guatemala e a Buenos Aires presso gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura, in Turchia e a Melbourne.

The first thing to keep in mind about me is: I'm your tutor, which means I'm not here to judge you, but to help you and guide you! I want you to feel at ease and most of all to enjoy our time together. As I see it, learning a foreign language is an experience, it's not only about reaching fluency but it's also about learning more about cultures, getting out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons.

Ti guiderò nell'apprendimento. Metterò a tua disposizione le mie competenze, la mia esperienza e la mia conoscenza dell'italiano e del siciliano (ho studiato anche il latino e il greco antico). Non insegno ai bambini. I will guide you in learning. I will put at your disposal my skills, my experience and my knowledge of Italian and Sicilian (I also studied Latin and ancient Greek). I don't teach children.

Thanks to my past as a language student and my work experience, first as a language tutor and now as a teacher, I am able to understand what is useful to a student during his learning path, what can help him achieve his goals. Each student is different from the other, so it is important to use a different method each time, which adapts to everyone's needs, making learning as easy and pleasant as possible. During my career I also had experience with students with learning disorders, such as dyslexia. The age range of my students ranges from middle school kids to adults, everyone is welcome!

I did maths and physics tutoring for high school students, while this will be my first experience as an Italian language tutor. However, I believe I will be able to do that since I am a native speaker and I have an excellent knowledge of grammar. I also have a good knowledge of English, gained at school and during periods spent abroad; for this reason I can also teach students who have difficulties in having a conversation in Italian.

I am in love with languages and I myself have been a language student, so I can say I am close to you! I perfectly master my native language and moreover I have published 4 novels and a lot of articles: so I adore to teach Italian to passionated people or to whom wants to get to know the culture of my country. I have been teaching students from different nationalities on 2 continents, so I know different methods of teaching.

I offer informal conversation lessons, in which I can teach you how to pronounce properly any Italian world you might don't know and how to become familiar with Italian grammar too. We can choose the topic of our conversation each time or just chit chat about ourselves.

I have a degree in law (with honours) and have an excellent knowledge of Italian grammar. In fact, every day I have to draw up complex legal acts that require a very thorough knowledge of the Italian language. During my lessons I use various tools (text, audio, video) that I personally chose to improve you in the aspects of the Italian language in which you are most lacking. Also, I can create exercises just for you. Furthermore, at the end of each lesson, I will show you the aspects you need to work on most.

In November 2017 I obtained the certification "DITALS Level I" which qualifies me to teach Italian as a foreign language or second language to foreign adults (18 years and older) of any nationality and for any level you choose to reach. I attended a 30-hour training course at the Accademia Italiana in Salerno (a Ditals-certified institution) where I did an 82-hour internship in Italian classes for foreigners. Since then I have had many teaching experiences. In addition, with the onset of the pandemic, I did 80 hours of online teaching at a private school of Italian for foreigners to prepare for distance teaching, mainly via Zoom and Skype.

Credo che questo lavoro sia fantastico: "il poter trasmettere alle altre persone parte della tua conoscenza e parte della tua cultura" . Faccio questo lavoro da due anni e vedere la gente che ogni volta avanza e arriva a raggiungere il suo obiettivo mi da tante soddisfazioni. Sono una persona molto rispettosa e cerco sempre di venire incontro alle esigenze delle persone che ho di fronte. Creo que este trabajo es fantastico: "El hecho de poder transmitir parte de mis conocimientos y de mi cultura". Hago este trabajo desde hace 2 años y ver la gente que cada vez avanza y logra su objetivo me da tanta sodisfacción. Soy una persona con mucho respeto y siempre trato de dar el máximo.

ll mio obiettivo è quello di insegnarti questa fantastica lingua in un modo semplice ed efficace! Lo scopo delle mie lezioni e quello di dare l'opportunità al mio studente di parlare il più possibile riguardo vari argomenti, in base al livello di padronanza della lingua stessa. My goal is to teach you this fantastic language in a simple and effective way! The purpose of my lessons is to dare my student to speak as much as possible about the various topics, based on the level of mastery of the language itself.

Currently, I work in an English Private School in Turin and I teach both English and Italian to non-native speakers. I taught English to toddlers (0-3 years old) in a private nursery. In addition, during my MA degree I was a university tutor for international students who wanted to learn and improve their Italian language skills, and I helped Italian university students to improve their English skills. Finally, I managed English courses for teenagers in summer campuses, where I held a workshop in which students had to create a comic strip with them as protagonists with dialogues written in English.

I believe that learning a new language is a long journey that leads us to a new version of ourselves. For this reason, it's important to choose who'll be your guide and mentor. I see myself as an empathic guide and a good listener, always committed to helping my students reaching their language goals and overcoming their difficulties. I care about my students feelings and moods as I understand how difficult learning a new language can be. For this reason, my goal is to make the learning process stimulating and funny. I'm committed to motivating my student in every class through engaging activities and stimulating materials.

In quanto insegnante sono molto attenta ai bisogni di ogni studente e cercherò di spronare ognuno il più possibile. Conosco molto bene le difficoltà quando si tratta di apprendere una nuova lingua e, per questo motivo, cercherò di far immergere il più possibile lo studente nella lingua e nella cultura italiana, proponendo anche la visione di video, l'ascolto di canzoni e tutto quello che può essere utile, ma anche divertente. Durante le mie lezioni, l'atmosfera sarà rilassata e divertente, senza alcuna pressione da parte mia!

I am a simple teacher. Sono un insegnate semplice. I think the only way of learning a new language is SPEAKING with someone.
