Conversational Italian classes online

My first experience with language-teaching and exchange (a good and useful experience) was represented by tandem language learning (when I lived in Brighton). My lessons are structured according to language proficiency levels set by the European framework. But, beyond that, methodology, approach and the relationship between teacher and student are all that matters. Language isn't just grammar. Language is a communicative act and grammar plays a fundamental role in order to learn a language. It can't be, however, the only way to "achieve the objective". I think you can learn languages if you don't get bored, if you feel enthusiasm, if you have passion for what you are learning.

Languages can be tricky: grammar, pronunciation and fluency may seem a lot too juggle all at the same time. As a teacher, I can guide you through the maze of language learning, by providing you with clear insights on the differences between your target language and your native one, to achieve fluency and confidence in your vocabulary.

Tra gli studenti e i tutor nei corsi di specializzazione per l'insegnamento che ho fatto (tra cui il CEDILS -Certificazione in didattica dell'italiano a stranieri e il CELTA - Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) io ero conosciuta come "la giocherellona". Sì esatto, una a cui piace giocare! Penso che la dimensione ludica sia il mezzo ideale per imparare senza accorgersi di star studiando e praticando la lingua. Io per prima sono studente di lingue straniere e so perfettamente cosa significhi faticare per crearsi una propria grammatica, ricordarsi vocaboli, fare figuracce davanti ai nativi... Niente paura! Ci sono qua io per te!!

Essendo laureata in Comunicazione Linguistica e Interculturale all'Università di Bari conosco benissimo la difficoltà che uno studente può riscontrare nell'approcciarsi a una nuova lingua. Io stessa, nel mio viaggio di apprendimento dell'inglese, tedesco e francese, ho incontrato svariati problemi. Ma sono profondamente convinta che con le giuste strategie e metodi non esistano ostacoli insormontabili! Preparerò ogni lezione in base alle esigenze dei miei studenti (grammatica, conversazione, pronuncia, vocabolario, ecc.) cercando di colmare qualsiasi possibile debolezza e consolidando gli aspetti già ben sviluppati.

I find important teaching Italian in a formal but funny way, as I think the learning path is more pleasant and effective. I really hope to be useful for personal improvement and overcoming fears, such as making linguistic errors, something absolutely normal and useful, if accepted, to have a starting point from which to progress successfully.

I like to share my culture as much as I like to learn from other cultures, which is why I started to give private Italian lessons to foreigners of every level and from all around the world. I like to understand what my student's goal is and find the most effective way for us to reach it together. In my experience, in order to learn a language, it is very important to speak. I worked in Manchester to improving my English skills; I worked as a teacher in a technical school (1 year); I have been working as a private teacher for 5 years. I worked as a touristic guide in a famous cellar in Sicily: cantine Florio. I worked in a private school “Antemar” and I taught "italian for business".

I have been improving my teaching method in the last five years, and I constantly find out new ways of teaching and presenting my language, thanks to the students I have been in contact with: each of you is different, each of you has a different reason to learn Italian, and for business and for passion, each of you is a new book to discover and to fill with my knowledge.

I have taught Spanish occasionally and I have always liked to base myself on the needs of my student, I don’t impose rules unless it is what the student asks me. Learning a language is a difficult process, especially at first, because you don’t know how to start but that’s the reason why I’m here! The only thing that we need is a lot of will and concentration!

I have a certification in teaching Italian to foreigners (DITALS) from the University of Siena and I am also a CELI examinator. I have been teaching Italian for about 6 years to adults from different nationalities in differents countries of the world. I am a calm and patient person, I teach in an informal and relaxed way, I like to listen and I am always in a good mood.

I love teaching: since I was a child I've always wanted to become a teacher. I have been teaching italian for more than two years online and in presence both individually and to groups of students. I attended a language teaching course at the Ca' Foscari University. I’m currently helping young people (from 10 to 15 years old) with English and Italian.

My teaching style is based on communication. We discuss together goals, frequency, duration and contents. I shape my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, deep and, at the same time, interesting and fun. I love talking about different topics and sharing opinions. I always try to create a relax atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.

I'm an Italian language teacher, I already have experience in teaching Italian to kids, teenagers and adults. I teach students of all levels, from A1 until C2, and kids are welcome too. I'm very friendly and my lessons are very relaxed. I'll treat you with respect and patience, to ensure you feel comfortable and confident when speaking in Italian. I also love teaching children. Games, songs and lots of fun is the basis of these lessons. If you have 2 children, I'm happy to split the lesson into two 30 minute lessons.

I truly love teaching and find it so exciting to watch my students make progress. I am very versatile and I have experience teaching students ages 3 to 80! I started tutoring college level students while I was in grad school and have continued to teach adults. I know what it's like to be a beginner student so I am extremely patient and I like to keep things fun and lighthearted!

I think to be a very patient teacher, I try to create the best empathy with my students to learn a new language in a very relaxed way. I already taught english for beginners in a city course some years ago and I realized that I had no problems explaining and maybe repeating things to my students, I was very happy to see them learning step by step, fullfilling their language expectations, that was a very great result!
