I am enthusiastic in what I do and love to share little tips here and there that will compliment my students' language learning habits in general, should they be looking for advice. I will find different ways to explain a concept and understand how to energize my lessons through new material. I am very patient and determined to only offer the best to help students reach their goals, whether beginner or advanced. I offer German/English conversation lessons for all levels as well as Italian and Spanish classes for beginner-intermediate levels. Note: While I do like emphasizing conversation, I know that many students will have different preferences and learning styles. Therefore I am flexible!

Since 2009, I've been giving Italian Language and Culture courses to adults, including managers and university students. I offer courses for any level and Language Certification - like CILS, CELI and the new B1 level test for obtaining the italian citizenship - or interest whether tourism, work, study or simply a passion for the language.

As a teacher, I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can learn by doing. Together we will study both grammar and the most common forms of colloquial language, we will pay particular attention to written forms and pronunciation and we will do so by talking about Italian culture in all its facets: from history to art, from music to cinema, from tourist attractions to food, passing through traditions, myths and legends.

As soon as I graduated, I started working in a language school. I have worked with people of all ages and of all levels and backgrounds, big groups, small groups and one-on-one. I can offer you my knowledge, 20 years of experience and a good will to help you in your learning journey. I like working with people who are dedicated to their goals and who find time to achieve them. I'm really happy when my students learn something new or improve their language skills and this requires seriousness from both (student's and teacher's) sides. However I like my lessons to be relaxed and friendly. Online teaching offers a lot of possibilities and I always implement new features I discover.

During my teaching experience I realised that text books and manuals are useful but not enough to deeply understand a language, to assimilate the structure and use it properly and brilliantly in any situation. I'll always help you reach the highest confidence in your own skills making you aware, at your own pace, that once we comprehend and domesticate the grammar and we create a solid vocabulary all we need is to remember that speaking a foreign language is always funny, fulfilling and incredibly useful!

My solid experience in language learning has equipped me with tricks and hacks to learn effectively and quickly. Throughout my studies, I've become aware of the learning process in different languages and I know what it takes to achieve the best results. But no pressure! I teach both Italian and English, and I started teaching Italian as a volunteer. In the last two years, I taught Italian to Erasmus students. I have been learning languages since I was a child and I developed new methods according to my experience. I believe that learning a new language is one of the best ways to enjoy life, to be more open-minded, to have better self-knowledge and to help self-development.

I've always helped my friends to learn French or Italian during my stay in France and also during my studies in Italy where I always helped foreign and Erasmus students learning Italian and English. I love to share my culture and to learn about other cultures, I really think that learning a new language is a way to connect, share and give yourself more possibilities and opportunities to reach your goals and to become a more open-minded and better person. I always try to share all of this during my lessons. That’s why I don’t like to say that I teach languages, I’d rather say that I exchange with people through the languages I speak.

Sono tutor d'italiano da più di 6 mesi su italki (anche se ho avuto altre esperienze in precedenza) e ho avuto la fortuna di crescere continuamente seguendo alcuni dei miei studenti fin dall'inizio del loro percorso su questa piattaforma. E' un esperienza bellissima. A proposito di questo ringrazio con il cuore Linda, bravissima studentessa francese da cui ogni giorno imparo; sì, imparo perché quello con lo studente lo considero un viaggio con uno splendido compagno. I graduated in Modern Languages, Culture and Translation (Spanish and English). I've had some experiences as teacher and as tutor, I've been a private english tutor for teenagers and, during my university years, thanks to a university association, I also had the opportunity to work in a Finnish High School in the Finnish Lapland for two months as Italian teacher. It was a great experience! I studied from zero (and I'm actually studying) also Russian and Finnish that are pretty different from the other languages I already knew before, so I know that it can be difficult and frustrating sometimes but it can be also really interesting and fun!
