I am an enthusiastic teacher who makes her best to spread positivity and eagerness in learning a new language. It needs to be fun and engaging! I love seeing on people's faces the satisfaction in their expression when they have just nailed something or just realised and absorbed something new. For me it's all about the process. I tend to focus on building a solid foundation, focusing on Italian dialect, grammar, vocabulary and fluency.

Dedicated teacher of Romance languages ​​(French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese) with over 10 years of experience. I have experience in teaching languages ​​at institutes, universities and schools. I have been an evaluator of international DELF, DALF, TCF and Celpe-Bras certification exams.

I have been teaching Italian during an EVS (European Voluntary Service) in Bulgaria for 6 months, for the local people, and I have been also teaching English in Denmark for 7 month during my Teaching Practice in a school for kids with special needs, as part of my pedagogy education. During this period, I had many pedagogical possibilities to witness the importance of preparing a good lesson and always having a back-up plan. Moreover, I also understood how relevant it is to create a good connection with the students and get to know them better in order to make them feel part of the learning process and being in the driving seat of their education.

I've been teaching English(also Italian to foreigners) and collaborating with private Institutes in Italy since 2005. I'm self self-employed with all the pros and cons of that. I have gathered a wide range of experience varying from secondary school students to private One-to-One lesson with the C.E.O of an International well-know Italian Company (Bticino), teaching also the "Italian Tax and Border "Police; conversation classes in High schools; companies adult classes of Business English ; preparing pupils and adults for different kind of exams and certificates, private tutoring, etc etc. Passion, joy and meeting new human beings are the reasons why I keep loving my job!

My teaching style is based on communication. We discuss together goals, frequency, duration and contents. I shape my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, deep and, at the same time, interesting and fun. I love talking about different topics and sharing opinions. I always try to create a relax atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.

Presto attenzione allo studente e alle sue necessità. L’obiettivo dello studente diventa la linea guida della lezione. Assieme allo studente cerco di comprendere le sue necessità e i suoi limiti per superarli. Sono amichevole, voglio che lo studente sia rilassato e si senta libero di esprimersi. Allo stesso tempo non transigo l’errore, la conoscenza corretta della lingua porta a una comunicazione più efficace.

Sono una persona molto paziente e solare. Credo che con il tempo ognuno possa raggiungere il proprio obiettivo! Mi piace parlare di libri, musica, teatro, film. Un modo divertente di imparere l'italiano è imparare le canzoni italiane, mi piacciono molto. Amo molto il mio paese quindi possiamo parlare della cultura italiana, di luoghi che ti piacerebbe visitare, del cibo! I'm a really patient and funny person! I started teaching Italian as a foreign language in 2003, and I've been teaching online for about three years. I have a University Degree in Translation and a Ditals Certification. I love teaching and I truly enjoy helping my students.

Il mio motto è "what would you do if you weren't afraid?" So bene quali possano essere le difficoltà nell'apprendimento di una lingua straniera e quanto sia importante la motivazione. Per questo cerco di mettere i miei studenti sempre a loro agio, sono solare, allegra, mi piace molto scambiare idee e opinioni e sono anche molto attenta alle esigenze dei miei studenti. Non smetto mai di incoraggiarli e di gioire con loro dei loro piccoli, ma grandi successi e progressi!

I am patient and I have listening skills, a characteristic that allows me to meet the needs of all and to study learning programs adapted to the objectives of each person. I love my native language and for me it is a pleasure to transfer it to you. I know that every student has a different way of learning, so I make sure I treat each student as an individual. I have a wide range of knowledge on many topics, so we will never be short on things to talk about. IMPORTANT: as a Community Tutor, I do not teach children. Sono un'insegnante attenta ai bisogni dei miei studenti, alle loro passioni e aspirazioni. Mi concentro sul loro metodo di apprendimento affinché procediamo di pari passo. Sono ripetitiva, amo la ridondanza affinché i concetti chiave siano ben compresi e assimilati. Con studenti più avanzati utilizzo un metodo induttivo di insegnamento affinché siano loro a riflettere sulla lingua. Il momento più importante per me è quello dei feedback dove posso confrontarmi con le conoscenze che gli studenti hanno realmente appreso e prendere atto di ciò che non hanno capito.
