Sono un'insegnante attenta ai bisogni dei miei studenti, alle loro passioni e aspirazioni. Mi concentro sul loro metodo di apprendimento affinché procediamo di pari passo. Sono ripetitiva, amo la ridondanza affinché i concetti chiave siano ben compresi e assimilati. Con studenti più avanzati utilizzo un metodo induttivo di insegnamento affinché siano loro a riflettere sulla lingua. Il momento più importante per me è quello dei feedback dove posso confrontarmi con le conoscenze che gli studenti hanno realmente appreso e prendere atto di ciò che non hanno capito.

I believe that learning a new language is a long journey that leads us to a new version of ourselves. For this reason, it's important to choose who'll be your guide and mentor. I care about my students feelings and moods as I understand how difficult learning a new language can be. For this reason, my goal is to make the learning process stimulating and funny. I'm committed to motivating my student in every class through engaging activities and stimulating materials.

I teach Italian, German, English, Spanish, Russian, French, Dutch, Catalan, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, Arabic and Esperanto (at different levels). I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).

Personally, I believe in the effectiveness of informal learning, which is why I mainly focus on colloquial speech, common expressions, idioms, trying to establish a relationship as equal as possible to learn from each other through the process of knowledge. I like to listen just as I have no trouble telling and sharing my personal ideas and experiences. I am precise and I pay close attention to the individual training needs of the learner, committing myself to preparing material adapted to his needs from time to time.

Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. For me every lesson is my personal promise to give my best attitude and knowledge to every single student. Throughout years of study I tested on my own skin various approaches to language learning and I know clearly what works and what does not. All this helped me develop natural and very communicative approach to teaching. Essendo laureata in Comunicazione Linguistica e Interculturale all'Università di Bari conosco benissimo la difficoltà che uno studente può riscontrare nell'approcciarsi a una nuova lingua. Io stessa, nel mio viaggio di apprendimento dell'inglese, tedesco e francese, ho incontrato svariati problemi. Ma sono profondamente convinta che con le giuste strategie e metodi non esistano ostacoli insormontabili! Preparerò ogni lezione in base alle esigenze dei miei studenti (grammatica, conversazione, pronuncia, vocabolario, ecc.) cercando di colmare qualsiasi possibile debolezza e consolidando gli aspetti già ben sviluppati.

I have experience as Italian Teacher and as English Teacher. In my last experience in Vietnam I understood that is important to start a good relationship with the students, sharing ideas, point of view, experiences and culture. Speak is the most important think once you are learning a new language, and even if is difficult at the beginning, I am here not only as teacher but also as a person who want to help you to improve a foreign language. Another important tips is to have fun while learning a new language so that you will remember the topic and the vocabulary easily and with a good memory.

As soon as I graduated, I started working in a language school. I have worked with people of all ages and of all levels and backgrounds, big groups, small groups and one-on-one. I have been a teacher of Italian to foreigners for about 10 years. It started as a great passion and then turned into a profession. I’m a teacher certified by the University for Foreigners of Siena (DITALS Certificate). I have taught in refugee centers to adults from different countries (English-speaking, French-speaking, Arabic-speaking) and with different levels of language. I have had experiences in schools for teenagers and in language workshops for children.

Finding myself in a foreign country, I learned that the best way to improve a language is TALKING, without any fear. I follow a communicative, student-centered approach. To me, it's really important that you feel comfortable and free to express yourself in Italian, no matter which is your level. Your needs and interests are the focus on which I will tailor the lessons. If you have studied italian before, I will send you a test before our first lesson to assess your level and tailor lessons on what you need most.

I have taught Italian and Latin in public schools in Italy for about ten years. Currently I teach mainly Italian for foreigners, in particular for foreign managers who need professional/business Italian courses for their companies' activity. I can also offer specialized Italian courses for doctors and lawyers. I still remember my first Italian lesson: it was amazing, because I immediately understood that I loved what I was doing, and time passed in a blink of an eye! I always do my best for every student and when I see that my students, lesson after lesson, become able to speak their target language and that they follow the courses with pleasure, it makes me love this work more and more.

I have lived in several foreign countries so I understand the difficulties in facing the study a new language. I have a lot of patience and I try to create a fun atmosphere so that the lesson becomes profitable and easy. I like to involve students and bring them to learn about Italian culture and traditions especially the gastronomic ones Ho vissuto in diversi paesi stranieri per cui capisco le difficoltà ad affrontare lo studio di una nuova lingua. Ho molta pazienza e cerco di creare un'atmosfera divertente in modo che la lezione risulti proficua e leggera. Mi piace coinvolgere gli studenti e portarli a conoscere la cultura e le tradizioni italiane soprattutto quelle gastronomiche.

First of all, I would say that I am very "kind" and flexible. I always try to adapt myself on my students' needs, and I think that it is very important to ask and know about my students' interests, hobbies, things they find very difficult when it comes to speaking and studying a new language and so on. I really care about my students and about their progress in learning. I am open to any kind of feedback and any kind of requests in order to make our lessons "better". For example, we could also try to learn a new language with songs!

Sono una docente qualificata di italiano come lingua straniera, ho molte esperienze in giro per il mondo con grandi e piccoli. Ho una laurea triennale in Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale, con lo studio di inglese e spagnolo, successivamente ho scelto di specializzarmi in Didattica dell'Italiano a Stranieri e ho ottenuto la certificazione Ditals. Tramite la mia università, Università per Stranieri di Siena, ho avuto l'opportunità di fare esperienze lavorative all'estero: a Boston in una middle school, a Londra con adulti dipendenti della banche HSBCe SwISS bank, a Città del Guatemala e a Buenos Aires presso gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura, in Turchia e a Melbourne.
