The best Indonesian language classes

I'm a native speaker of Malay and Thai as I learned Arabic and English for more than 10 years so I'm fluent in all of them. Now I'm still passionate about learning new languages too, so I'm started studying some French and Spanish in my spare time. I have work experience in teaching Arabic as a part-time job when I visited my country last summer, as I had experience helping my friends and family speak better those languages too and it made me want to help you here so. I can teach you whatever your level of that language is: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

I always find teaching exciting. There is a sense of achievement and pleasure when I get to share what I know to someone else and others can benefit from that. I'll make sure to be friendly, fun and patient with my students! even though I would treat my students more like my 'friends' rather than my 'students'.

I want my students to learn as fast and as fun as they can. I will try to create a learning experience that will motivate them to learn more and help them with all the struggles they face throughout the learning process. Overall, I teach my students based on their Indonesian language skill level. I will help my students with writing, pronunciation, Indonesian colloquial, and grammar. I've been living in Jakarta for many years, therefore, I can also help my students to learn Jakartan slang. I can also explain how Indonesian grammar works in English in great detail. I understand very well how both languages work, so I think it would be really beneficial for my students.

I describe myself as a good listener. As a person who lives in a multicultural society, learning a new language has its own challenge, so I understand the challenges faced by my students. I involved in education (teaching and learning) as the Innovation Hub Coordinator in an International School in Bali, to which this position required me to deliver learning materials in the English language. I also offer Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language) class for tourists in Bali and teach English to Indonesian students for more than 2 years.

I was born and grew up in Indonesia. Bahasa Indonesia is my native language and I can speak English well too. Therefore I can teach Bahasa Indonesia easily. It's my pleasure to teach you Bahasa Indonesia, my native language.

I have been teaching some private courses for about 3 years now. My students range from the age of 6 to the age of 35. I do private courses both online and offline. I do not really treat my students as students. I treat them as my friends. With this, I believe that there is no power distance between us that hopefully can make the students feel less pressured.

I have been a counseling teacher since 2011. I usually help to overcome my students' learning disabilities. I have big passion at teaching, because I love helping people improve their talent, and get their good opportunity after having new ability. On the other hand, I'm so excited to talk to people.

In the past, I worked as a volunteer for a year as an English teacher for local students in West Java, as part of a community-development program. I have also helped fellow students in Australia learn the Indonesian language.

I am easy going and patient. I will respect other's personal spaces as I know we might have different cultures and all. Most importantly, I will try to keep motivating you to achieve your goal in learning the language! How the lesson is carried out? - Prepare self-made learning materials and material from books that meet standards for students - Distributing material to students, students can record videos while studying, give homework, and review previous material at the next meeting. - Learning not only listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills but also pronunciation and grammar. - Teach you formal, informal, slang, idiom, and colloquial language - I match my method with students' interests and the lesson material or the topic will be adjusted to the students’ needs.

Speaking 3 languages made me knows how challenging it is to learn something new especially language. however, this abilities has made me adapt quickly in a new environment also bring me to a new area of confident. I am confident in my ability to teaching with creative ideas for you. Everyone has different needs, and everyone comes from a different situations. So, I am flexibly focus on these needs to find lessons that can be useful and suits you best! As learning Indonesian takes practice, I like to encourage you to speak your mind freely, but don't worry as I will help you throughout the lesson. I speak several other language including English, Spanish and Korean so I really understand the process of leaning second language. I understand that every student has a different need and learning pace, my class is specially tailored to your needs and preferences. Most of my students went knowing nothing about Bahasa Indonesia but "apa kabar?" and "selamat pagi" to be able to conduct, hold, and conclude a small talk and everyday conversation, ordering food, making an appointment, giving and asking direction in just less than 30 hours class.

I don't have any formal experience in teaching, but I have been helping foreigners learning Bahasa Indonesia especially tourists who were struggling to speak to locals in Indonesia.

I've been teaching since 2008. I teach young learners, teenagers, and adults. They vary in terms of their language levels. I teach from the beginner level to the intermediate level. I usually develop my own material to suit each student's need because I believe that they have different purposes in learning a language and learning styles. That's why I usually customize my material for them.

I am personally interested in languages and how it can build a bridge in communication! I am more than happy to share my knowledge to people as I would think their growth is also my achievement. As a native speaker of Indonesian, I offer Bahasa Indonesia classes. Since 2014, I teach Indonesian language to foreigner abroad and exchange students who come to Indonesia to study. I have 3 years of experience in teaching French to adults and children. I have experience teaching children under the age of 10, a military school, and students who need to pass the DELF test to study in France.

I've had a little bit of experience teaching. When I was in high school, I volunteered as a teacher for homeless children. I have also had informal conversations with businessman from other countries around the world and I taught them about the Indonesian language and our culture. I have had some experience here on Italki now and I look forward to developing myself as a teacher.
