I had taught students from US, UK, Russia, Australia, Thailand, Ukraine, and China. I met many kind of student, either by gender or age. So, I always adapt my teaching approach based on my student characteristic.

I adapt what students need. Then, communication and ambience are first parts that I concern because when teacher and students have good communication and happy, the goal of learning will be achieved.

I have been teaching English for about 7 years. In my workplace, I also help some native English teachers learn Indonesian language. I find it's fun. In 2017, I decided to go back to school and learn my mother tongue formally. I always encourage my students to share their interests and passions. Once I know what they are really into, they can speak even more than I expected. Creating a fun and active class atmosphere is a key to help boost my students skills.

I describe myself as a good listener. As a person who lives in a multicultural society, learning a new language has its own challenge, so I understand the challenges faced by my students. I involved in education (teaching and learning) as the Innovation Hub Coordinator in an International School in Bali, to which this position required me to deliver learning materials in the English language. I also offer Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language) class for tourists in Bali and teach English to Indonesian students for more than 2 years.

I teach my students based on their Indonesian language skill level and give them the insight to use the language not only to communicate with native Indonesian but also to deal with Indonesian culture and how to use it just like a native speaker. I will help my students with writing, pronunciation, Indonesian colloquial, and grammar.    !! I'm a native speaker of Malay and Thai as I learned Arabic and English for more than 10 years so I'm fluent in all of them. Now I'm still passionate about learning new languages too, so I'm started studying some French and Spanish in my spare time. I have work experience in teaching Arabic as a part-time job when I visited my country last summer, as I had experience helping my friends and family speak better those languages too and it made me want to help you here so. I am no professional teacher, but learning language is my passion. I love to observe what type of my student is before I begin the class with short introduction and short story about my student's experience in learning Indonesian (by people, apps, movie, actor, etc). I am a good listener and love to guide my student to speak more with their vocab. Limited vocab and mistakes are never being a big deal in learning languages. I believe language is a living thing that exists when people communicate with each other. That's why making sure students talk as much as possible is my main focus. Now I can only hold 5-7 classes a day. It's not because I don't want to teach more classes, but I want to prepare the best material for my students. I'd say, I am a chill and fun tutor. I love to connect and to understand my students stories first on why they want to learn the language, I believe by doing I will be able to have a good formula or teaching plan for them. I also believe that learning a new language, it is not only just to know the meaning of every word. In my perspective, to learn a foreign language it's also to learn the culture that comes from the language. Understanding way of life and local wisdom of the people who speaks the language will make a big difference on learning the language. I believe I can provide those treatments to my students.

I have been teaching almost 8 years. I have a lot of studens from different country, of course different characher and dialect. In this case, I do not require my students to speak perfectly. I teach slowly according to the student needs.

I am a native Indonesian. My goal is to make students that I teach confident in speaking the language they learn. Based on my experiences, there are different ways to learn a new language. I've had a little bit of experience teaching. When I was in high school, I volunteered as a teacher for homeless children. I have also had informal conversations with businessman from other countries around the world and I taught them about the Indonesian language and our culture. I have had some experience here on Italki now and I look forward to developing myself as a teacher.
