I can relate to a situation when you start learning, it all goes well for a while and then it all just stops and no matter what you do, you cannot move on and improve your language level. I've developed different strategies that worked for myself and for my students and I will be happy to share them with you.

I see myself as a practical learner therefore my preferred approach is to learn by practice! In schools and language courses, languages often get analyzed rather than practiced which is why so many people make no progress after "studying a language" for months. Learning a language is like painting in the sense that you don't need to know the atomic structure of colors to be able to paint a nice picture. In this same way you don't need to know all the rules and technical terms to successfully use a language. In my lessons you will actively practice speaking German without worrying to much about the mistakes which will ultimately make it more fun and enjoyable for you.

Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. For the past few years, I've been volunteering with young people in schools to improve their confidence with English. During my time in Germany, I worked for the Red Cross as a learning mentor for a young refugee where I provided English conversation practice and helped him with his schoolwork. My current long-term goal is to become a schoolteacher.
