Meine Arbeit im Kinderarbenteuerhof und im Waldkindergarten in Freiburg hat mir besonders Spaß gemacht und dort habe ich Erfahrungen beim Begleiten von Kindern und Jugendlichen in Lernprozessen sammeln können. In meiner Tätigkeit als Tagesmutter habe ich die Lernbegleitung von 7 heranwachsenden Jugendlichen durch tägliche Hausaufgabenbetreuung übernommen. Derzeit unterrichte ich Deutsch,Mathematik und Musik für Freilehrner-Kinder in Costa Rica.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.

"German is the hardest language to learn!" "This makes now sense!" You know ... those thoughts we are having when learning German. They are NOT true! I believe that German can be explained and actually be fun as well. I have been told that I explain Grammar and Vocabluary in good ways and animate people to stay motivated. ;) Find out if our chemistry matches in a trail lesson. Please understand that I can't accept more then 4 hours of lessons per day to keep the quality up. Of course I will try to find an other time slot for you, in case you book a day that already reached capacity.

Thanks to my language studies in Italy, where I attended university, I understood how important it is to use the new language every day to make steady improvements and I also know how difficult it can be to learn it when you have a busy life. I’ve started private teaching in 2014. I have no accent, and I teach in standard German. In the beginning I taught people from East Asia, but today my students are coming from all over the world. I'm particularly interested in languages like Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Right now I'm trying to master Japanese. Understanding how these languages are structured gives me the opportunity to teach you German in a more understandable way. In addition, I can help you, to pass the TestDaF, which is the general German language test for foreigners, who want to start studying at a German University. I've also experience in preparing students for the DSH language test and the Goethe-Zertifikat.

In my opinion the best way to learn a language is through speaking it. To improve your German I would let you talk all the time and note feedback in the meantime. If you have some specific wishes I can prepare a more structured session with a specific goal in mind. I'm able to talk about any topic. Should be easy to find a topic that interests you. I'm flexible, i.e. besides language teaching I can work with you on goals you are aiming towards. To name few: preparation for a job interview, negotiations or scenarios in business context.

I'm not a big proponent of old-school style language teaching but rather like to introduce my students to new, innovative methods and figure out the one that works best for them.

People usually say I am patient, open-minded, kind and optimistic. I love having deep, inspiring conversations, love learning from people and listening to their stories. I think that every human live is unique, precious and truly awesome in the original sense of this word — inspiring awe. I offer speaking practice in Russian, English and German. Russian is my native language, I was born and live since childhood in Moscow, I have very standard Russian with classic Moscow pronunciation and vocabulary. I am perfectly fluent in English and German. I don't "feel" these languages as good as I feel Russian, but I know German and English grammar through and through due to my university background.

I've been teaching German for many years and I've taught students of all ages. For me, every student is special and I prepare every lesson individually based on your learning style, needs and goals. As a result, I will gradually develop your German and boost your skills and confidence in less time than you thought possible.

Overcoming difficulties and actually improving your German by actively using it will make you feel more comfortable and confident after a short while and will keep you going in the long run. For all topics I have easy-to-remember explanations (e.g. for the adjective endings), which you will get used to quickly. We will always come back to new subjects and words until you understand them and we will only proceed at your pace. Everything we discuss will be put down in different google docs (chat - contextualization - writing). We will be working on them together.

My main aim is it to pass on the spark for the joy of language learning to you. For myself, it has opened so many doors and I want to it to do the same to you. I am a very lighthearted, kind and caring teacher who is aware of your specific needs and it is also my own joy to see you learn and grow. ? I was working as a german and alphabetization teacher in Austria during 3 years, wih people of different origins, education,, adolecents and grown ups, slow- and quicklearners. So in general I m very used to different kinds of students and can easily adapt. I also gave private arabic lessons. Here in Costa Rica I teach Spanish to foreigners. no USE OF ITALKI CLASSROOM! SKYPE or maybe other if you explain me early enough how it works!
