I’ve been an English and French tutor for 2 years teaching young kids introduction to the language, teenagers, helping them strengthen their skills, as well as adults that want to improve their vocabulary, or pronunciation. I am patient, interested, motivated and passionate, and I am happy to be part of someone's journey in learning a new language. I specialize in teaching from A2 to C2 level, but I do not at the moment tutor complete beginners to the language.

During our first encounter, I will chat with you to get to know you, assess your level and define your objectives. This can be also be done during a trial lesson. It is important to me that lessons take place in a relaxed atmosphere, with material adapted to the interests of the student. Please let me know about what motivates you to help me tailor your lessons. Learning is easier when it is fun ! I am very patient and believe there is no shame in making mistakes, as it is a part of the learning process. I will gladly repeat or explain something several times if needed .

I have been travelling for many years and have visited over 30 countries. This has been an excellent way for me to help people learn new languages or develop their grasp of English. My experience ranges from teaching farmers in South America to assisting in small group settings studying for exams. I studied English language, French and Spanish, hopefully I can help you see how easy it can be to pick up a new language too. Please, no students under 17yrs (I may accept a trial or 30 minute lesson to see if we are compatible however, it is unlikely).

I always push my students to talk as much as possible because practice is the best way to improve your language skills! I incentivise them talking about topic they are passionate about. I help my students improving their vocabulary, their grammar, their pronunciation. I want them to feel comfortable having a day-to-day conversation in french. Je pousse toujours mes étudiants à parler le plus possible car rien de tel que la pratique pour s'améliorer! Je les incite à parler de sujets qui les passionnent. J'aide mes étudiants à améliorer leur vocabulaire, leur grammaire, leur prononciation. Je veux qu'ils se sentent à l'aise lors d'une conversation en français.

My classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I do my best to make them as fun and interactive as possible :) The most important for me is that my students can gain confidence in their speaking skills. My teaching approach is based on multimedia resources such as videos, songs, images and audio files. During our first interview, I will test your level to provide you with pedagogical materials adapted to your needs. I also work as a DELF test examiner. I believe that the best teachers are those who can adapt to the needs of each apprentice. Therefore, I like to learn more about my students so i can provide them with the adequate material and methodology to their specific needs. I also believe that casual conversations are the best way to learn a new language because it helps the student to practice his vocabulary and fluent his accent. Finally, I attend to use positive reinforcement to encourage my students and make their journey as easy and fun as possible.

How I would describe myself as a teacher? I would answer: friendly, precise, creative and keen. Attentive to students and versatile, according to their needs and goals. Eager to learn students’ sparkling eyes are my real engine! I always make every effort to pass on to them my knowledge and my fondness for languages and cultures in a friendly and inspirational atmosphere. I enjoy teaching and also learning from my students. I like to learn about new cultures (history, languages, etc.) and also to share my own. I'm always open to meet new people and sharing with them experiences and knowledge.

I have grown up in France and have lived in the US during my junior year exchange in university. I hold a Master's Degree in Communications from Sciences Po (class of 2012). I love talking about matters related to Communications and many other things ! Teaching French has been a real pleasure for me since I love transmitting knowledge and trigerring debates with my students :)

Regarding my language-learning experience, I started learning foreign languages intensively two and half years ago. I began to look for native English and Spanish speakers on several exchange online platforms, in order to improve my skills in both languages. In return I gave them help with French. Talking with people from all around the world has changed my life in a way I wouldn't have imagined so far. Indeed I've managed to reduce my French accent, and I also have become more fluent thanks to the entertaining and absorbing conversations I had with each of them. Besides, this made realize that I undoubtedly want to dedicate more efforts to French teaching.

I've started teaching in 2012 as a student, I was teaching online and in-person and then I opened my language center in 2015. I studied English at university for my Bachelor's and then I studied linguistics for my Master's. I love learning and I am constantly working on improving my teaching skills by taking lessons and staying up to date with the latest in language teaching and language acquisition.
