The skills I learnt on my TESOL course have equipped me well to deal with difficulties in the classroom such as misunderstanding, mispronunciation, eliciting language and time management. I am adaptable, and can often find new ways of explaining tasks or language rules if they are not understood first time round.

I can help you to achieve better understanding of the language you are studying. Outside of class hours, I can give you notes and exercises to further your language practice. I can also recommend you textbooks, provide you review handouts, or any other supplementary materials that can aid you in your study. I have a passion for teaching languages and have been especially interested in learning languages from a very young age. I am educated to Masters degree level in linguistics. I have taught Polish and English at all levels. I am very organised and prepared and plan the curriculum around the learners individual requirements. I have been a qualified TEFL teacher since July 2016, and I have experience teaching complete beginners through to advanced. I teach adults and have taught business English, general English, and exam preparation. I have a lot of experience creating personalised learning plans, and have also designed syllabuses and curriculums, including for a university where I taught in Colombia. I studied religion and diplomacy as a MA because I enjoy learning about and experiencing different cultures, which is what lead me into being an English teacher. I love teaching English as it helps us understand one another and share our own cultures and worldviews.

My teaching style is highly student-driven. I believe in tailoring the learning process to meet the goals that the student sets -- reading and writing, for example, or speaking, conversation, understanding spoken dialogue or even focusing on the ability to do translation. I believe it's important to focus not only on those goals but everyday use of the English language, to make the student more comfortable in a situation where they will be interacting with other English speakers, likely many of whom speak nothing else. I always encourage my students to work hard but to focus on how English can help meet their future needs for communication and understanding.

I love to be engaging as much as it is possible. I orient on your aims, your level and most of all - the things you love doing. I strongly believe that the mix of this love and conversational practice makes the best results. Also, I try to listen carefully to every student and understand what is the best method, the best approach is suitable for him/her. I am an English tutor with TEFL certification, 10 years classroom experience and over 700 lessons taught online. I started my teaching career more than ten years ago as a volunteer teacher in Kerala, Southern India. Since then I have taught in schools in Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Italy and Thailand.
