The reason I have decided to start tutoring on italki is because I love to help people, communicate with them in the language I love and learn about their different cultures. Patience, motivation and humor are my strongest assets in teaching English to students at different levels. I encourage my students to not be afraid of making mistakes, but I always provide corrections during the lesson so that bad habits are prevented from developing. My lessons are provided in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I am a good active listener who makes students feel comfortable, and when I speak, it is slow, clear and at your current level.

As a teacher with 20 years professional experience I continuously strive to build rapport with my students, creating a trusting atmosphere and paying constant attention to individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. I offer a tailored learning experience in which the lesson is a dynamic and interactive process. I am very proud of my students and I adore my job. It always makes me very happy to see them making progress, constantly advancing in their understanding of the language.

I'm a resourceful teacher, with many aces up my sleeve that help me adapt to my students' preferences in learning. I´ve been teaching for a couple of years in different private schools and by my own to all English level adults. I take special care in bringing up my student´s confidence.

Using weird but memorable examples you put into practice what you've learned. I have been teaching in iTalki since 2016 as my full-time job and before iTalki, I taught English since 2011. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Languages with a Major in English Translation. Nevertheless, I love teaching languages. ❏ Cancellation Policy Unfortunately, I only reschedule classes for cancellation in case of emergencies. If a student is more than 10 minutes late or is a no-show, students will be charged for the entire lesson.

I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.

My profession in England is a sports teacher teaching small children all the way up to adults! I have been a teacher for 15 years and love what I do. This has allowed me to communicate and teach others very well, show patience and differentiation in my lessons. I have a passion for all of the amazing people that have helped me learn showing me patience and kindness over the last few years and want to provide the same for you guys! I really want to help you learn using my skills as a teacher from my profression here in England as a sports teacher but also using my native language to give you the same confidence that I was given the opportunity to develop.

I have a Master's degree in Teaching - Secondary Education (older children and adults). Although formal teaching is my second career, I have been teaching all of my life--children through adults. I work to help my students have space to figure out answers without cutting them off, and helping them learn to calm their mind so they can think clearly to work on an answer.

Simple grammar for sentence structure can't be overlooked. That's a fatal mistake that will set you back years.11 You won't actually be learning the language if you just repeat random sentences over and over instead of understanding why you say what you say. Another way to sabotage your language learning is by not practicing. You need to practice during and after the lesson, making it in a way that doesn't feel like a heavy load in your already busy life. 10 pages of homework is unnecessary. Short and simple does the job. Boring lessons can make you lose your motivation because language learning is one of the learning subjects that can be very fun to learn unlike math.

I can teach you English or Danish. I generally teach conversational classes, where I'll introduce grammar and new words/expressions as needed. I also teach you how to sound natural, whether it is in terms of the words you use or how you say them.

I have been teaching English for the past 3 years, so I know how to help a student from a beginner level to a more advanced level. In my classes, I generally like to do a mixture between grammar and practicing the language. Generally, I prefer to follow the European Framework of Reference for Languages as my guide when planning classes. I believe that grammar and vocabulary is important – but so is the experience of learning English. Taking into account your language level and your goals, we can work together to create the perfect language learning experience that you need.

我不教孩子 I'm patient and cheerful. I've taught students from all around the world. And helped many of them to pass key exams like IELTS or the Cambridge exams. In my conversation lessons, I give advice on word choice, sentence structure, pronunciation and grammar - so that students learn how to talk about the things that they want or need to talk about in English. I can also help you with tests like IELTS, FCE, CAE or CPE, with job interviews and with business English and written English. Please note: I don't currently have the time necessary (or the materials) to prepare lessons for young children, so please don't book sessions for young children.

I'm a TESOL professional with almost 10 years of teaching experience. I have a bachelor's degree and master's degree in applied linguistics from Georgia State University. I also have a TEFL certificate. I lived in South Korea for about 5 years where I taught in a public high school and then adults at Pagoda Language Academy.

I use video, audio and text materials for the three different classes I offer on Italki; my personalised English coaching, my British pronunciation masterclass and my upper limit goal coaching programme. My teaching career began in high school when I worked at my school's summer camp. In university I tutored reading to 3rd grade students at the local public school. Later I lived in Mexico and did an internship with an English teacher at the national university. In the internship I focused on improving students’ pronunciation and fluency. I have been a private English tutor in Ecuador, Spain, and Morocco. Most recently I was in Vietnam for 1 year teaching English to all ages and levels at a private language center.

I have worked for over 3 years as an English tutor and bring a high level of experience in communicating, from having trained for 4 years as a professional actress. This training requires in-depth techniques and understanding of the complex ways in which we communicate. I have studied at degree level in three different subjects and use all of the skills I have gained to bring the best possible quality to my work as a tutor.

I have over 20 years' experience teaching and I specialize in oral communication skills. My conversation lessons aim to make you more comfortable listening and speaking. I will speak more slowly and more clearly, and suggest free online resources to practice more. My classes are fun and relaxed! I also offer a new story-based class format for beginners.
