I have been an ESL teacher for almost 9 years. I have taught all levels, ages and most nationalities. I have taught at 7 schools. I first taught in Shanghai, China, but I prefer teaching international classes in my city, Toronto, because it is more interesting, dynamic and fun. I am very patient, intuitive and creative with my students. I will correct you after you've finished your thought, and I will teach you exactly what you need at the moment of speaking.

I have been teaching for 4 years, I'm proud of the experience I have accumulated and I think working online is the next step in my career growth. I started my experience by working in summer school where I taught international teenagers, then went on to teach in a Spanish nursery school. The following year, I worked in Egypt teaching adults and then I worked in Japan for 2 years teaching children and adults. During my second year in Japan, I became senior teacher in a school that taught children. This experience really enhanced my teaching because I became a lot more creative with the kind of activities I do and I started using similar games and activities with my adult students.

I like reading empowering books (though lately I am using more audio books) & I will gladly give you some recommendations.

I have experience helping Latino immigrant children with their homework after school. I volunteered for a Latino community-focused nonprofit in Chicago over the course of a year while I was in college.

I love teaching. Every student is unique and has different needs and goals. I appreciate every single person who comes across my path. I love learning about their histories, cultures, hobbies, etc. I enjoy travelling. I visited countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the USA and India where I experienced varieties of English accents. This helps me make my students aware how vast and amazing English language is. As a teacher I like my classes to be a safe, fun and comfortable space for the learner, no matter the age. I know how scary it can be to learn a language so I will be here to make the transition as comfortable for the student as possible. There are no stupid questions in my classroom, questions is how you grow so i encourage my students to ask as much as they want. I am patient, open-minded and efficient and if requested I can tailor a lesson plan for a students specific needs.

I have teaching experience now on iTalki, and usually with friends and family members, by making twice a week classes and conversations during the week. Pronunciation is a strong point, so that's what I focus the most, as well as basic grammar.

I’ve been teaching English for over 11 years. When I got a Master's Degree in Teaching English in 2009, I started to work as an English teacher for adults & teens in Kyiv. In order to enhance my qualification and to be able to teach English worldwide, I successfully completed a CELTA course in August, 2017. As a little girl I learned English through cartoons, and at the age of 7 I already started learning English at school. My further education, Law school, travels and meeting people from different countries have helped me to understand various accents.
