I would describe my teaching style as very interactive. I prefer to create a teaching environment that encourages critical thinking and elicits responses from my students rather than having them merely retain and repeat information. I make use of different websites and encourage my students to read to improve both vocabulary and fluency.

I graduated from the department of languages at University and I have experience in teaching non-native Arabic speakers. I have taught Arabic to a number of students and they all loved the language. I enjoy teaching Arabic to my students. I can teach just adults in a simple and uncomplicated way. We can have conversations together as well as grammar lessons and writing skills. I can also give homework to each student to prepare on their own and then we can review it together during our next lesson. I am so patient, flexible and friendly. I can repeat many times. I am also so flexible, I don't have a problem if a student asks me to change the topic or reschedule lessons....

I have not only studied languages and acquired diplomas, I also perfected my skills while living abroad for a long time and traveling a lot. I have lived for example in Spain, Chile, Brasil and Portugal for several years, apart from my home country Germany of course! Since I am also learning different languages, I am aware of the difficulties and challenges involved and can help you with any struggles you might face and want to support you in the language learning process.

Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. For me every lesson is my personal promise to give my best attitude and knowledge to every single student. Throughout years of study I tested on my own skin various approaches to language learning and I know clearly what works and what does not. All this helped me develop natural and very communicative approach to teaching. I love to share my enthusiasm with my students and I always try to help my students put in practice everything what they learn!

In 2011 I signed up at the Teaching Training College, where not only did I learn about languages but also about pedagogy. For this reason, I always design meaningful lessons based on the communicative approach and the four skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening). These lessons are always prepared taking into consideration the interests of the learner and the objectives set to improve any aspect of the language. Besides, I try to create a good and comfortable atmosphere where the learner feels free of making mistakes and they are seen as a way to improve the learning path.

I’m a language learner myself, just started learning my 2nd foreign language that is Spanish. So I’ve been in your shoes and able to see struggles learners can have. Before I became fluent in English, I experimented with many things that concern language learning, tried what works and what doesn’t. Somewhere down the road, I realized languages aren’t that dire as they seem to be and I’d love to make you just as confident. Honestly, what’s better in life than being a competent language learner? I am Tefl (Teaching English a Foreign Language) qualified and I am also degree educated too! - This always helps when giving you thorough feedback on your English as I can distinguish whether it’s prepositions that you need to improve on or your tenses for example. Inicié mis estudios de inglés a los 10 años y finalicé siete años después en la Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa. Rendí el First Certificate Examination con un puntaje de 85 y comencé el profesorado de inglés en Buenos Aires. Para perfeccionar mi nivel realicé viajes al exterior. En Argentina me dedico a dar clases particulares de todos los niveles. Tuve alumnos desde los 4 hasta los 65 años de edad. Mi objetivo como profesora es hacer que el alumno le encuentre un sentido propio al idioma y que el proceso de aprendizaje sea exitoso y no frustrante.

I have worked as an ESL teacher the past two years with students from beginner level English to advanced; from as young as 6 years old all the way to an amazing 74 year old Japanese woman who decided to learn so she could travel the world more easily!
