I know that learning the English language may be difficult for some people but, do not worry. I will help you learn and practice the basics of speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

Since I was 14 years old, I like learning languages that is why, currently, I study Modern Languages. I almost get my college degree. In my studying process, I realized that I really love teaching languages. Therefore, I decided to look for an academy here in my country to teach the languages I know and share my knowledge. I have two years of experience in teaching languages. I considered myself as a patient, professional and funny teacher. It is really important for me to make sure my students are learning, so that is why I teach in a participative and dynamic way between my students and me.

I always enjoyed English as a subject at school and received good grades. With English and my qualification in Business Studies I was then able get my first teaching job in Paris, teaching predominantly Business English in schools and in companies. Teaching gave me the opportunity to indulge my passion for travel and I spent the next four years teaching in Europe before returning to the UK to consolidate my work experience with a Diploma in TEFL. Since then I have taught mainly in central London Schools and appreciate the opportunity it has given me to really get to know people and their different cultures.

At formal lessons I work with various textbooks as well as with my own materials. We can focus mostly on communication and listening comprehension or choose a more general approach towards learning. At informal conversation classes I make you talk as much as possible asking you lots of questions and correcting you in the Skype chat or in a Google Docs file so that you're able to review everything on your own afterwards. I can also make extra voice recordings if asked.

I have my 40 hour TEFL Certificate and have been teaching for 7 years to children and adults from Japan,China,Taiwan,Brazil,Italy,Georgia and many more. I've taught Grammar,Pronunciation, Business English,Travel English, kids course and Conversational English. I have worked with all levels and can tailor the lessons to fit your needs and goals. My focus lately has been teaching university students who are Business majors planning on studying and working abroad. The main area of focus has been: IELTS test preparation, English for academic purposes and Business English skills for the workplace. I also have a background in IT as a software developer, and have taught the subject at the high school level, so if you need help improving your English for work in the IT field, I can help with that as well.

I can help you to achieve better understanding of the language you are studying. Outside of class hours, I can give you notes and exercises to further your language practice. I can also recommend you textbooks, provide you review handouts, or any other supplementary materials that can aid you in your study. I can do all the things you expect a teacher to do, but I see myself as a mirror: your improvement and progress is entirely up to ~ you ~ how enthusiastic you are about the language you study ~ and your motivations. In our conversations, the environment is always a welcome one. Make mistakes. Take your time, express yourself freely. After all, most of the interaction with a tutor is never about the subject you learn, but about the connection you have and how comfortable you feel. Make decisions as to how you want the lessons to go; a teacher is a resource, so use it to your advantage.

Thanks to my past as a language student and my work experience, first as a language tutor and now as a teacher, I am able to understand what is useful to a student during his learning path, what can help him achieve his goals. Each student is different from the other, so it is important to use a different method each time, which adapts to everyone's needs, making learning as easy and pleasant as possible. During my career I also had experience with students with learning disorders, such as dyslexia. The age range of my students ranges from middle school kids to adults, everyone is welcome!

I've been teaching English since February/2020 and Realized that I like to do that so much. I feel so proud when I see my students' progress. As a teacher with 20 years professional experience I continuously strive to build rapport with my students, creating a trusting atmosphere and paying constant attention to individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. I offer a tailored learning experience in which the lesson is a dynamic and interactive process. I am very proud of my students and I adore my job. It always makes me very happy to see them making progress, constantly advancing in their understanding of the language.

I’ve had experience in teaching English to Germans at a private tutor school. I've also helped many of my German, French and Japanese friends with their English. This has enabled me to be able to quickly identify problems that non-native speakers might have. I’m currently on my way to becoming a professional linguist to improve my abilities.
