In fact, teaching has projected the best in me. Being a patient and sociable individual by nature, I have found myself willing and able to create a friendly, yet professional atmosphere in my classes. As a teacher, I'm very passionate about my work and I truly love helping students improve their abilities and language skills. My lessons are fun and relaxed and I love students who ask me tons of questions. My philosophy is that knowledge is power and should be accessible to as many people as possible.

Many of my former students say that I'm patient, dedicated and that I maximize class hours to learning and acquiring English. These traits, I believe, are results of trying to understand my students better. In and out of class hours, I do my best to assess students' needs as learners, and as people who wish to be able to communicate. During class hours I make sure that learning objectives are met and students USE THE LANGUAGE A LOT. Hi, I have experience teaching all ages (5-65) and many types of students (beginners, university linguistic majors, businessmen, casual speakers). Students of English typically need to understand the fine points of grammar. Businessmen need to know technical terms, as well as social norms for informal situations. Young children need to be engaged and have a sequence of short activities.

I design my lessons for students to feel more comfortable. so that it will be helpful to start speaking their target language till the first day. I have helped students speak fluently Hindi and Punjabi. I can help you in everything including pronunciations speaking reading writing and grammar. I stress that all my students start speaking their target language till the first day itself and I don't want my students to waste their time on futile exercises. I also believe that a fun-loving and stress-free environment conducive to learning any language.

As a teacher I pay attention to personal goals and needs of every single student. My lessons are more conversational because I think that language is taught mainly (not only!) by speaking. As a teacher I’m guided by a line from Don Quijote, “Cada uno es hijo de sus obras.” (“We are all the children of our accomplishments.”) and an anthropological observation that “education is identity change.” Learning is more than the acquisition of new skills, it’s the emergence of a new identity. I first saw it in my dissertation research, and then I began to see it everywhere. Learning anything new, especially another language, means becoming someone new. These insights continually challenge me to offer relevant instructional opportunities that allow learners to experience themselves engaging in new practices that they can then convert into newer versions of themselves.

I am a native English speaker from England, currently travelling the world and learning new languages. I am teaching English in South America and enjoy helping those looking to improve their English. I look forward to helping with your English too!

I enjoy reflecting upon language, and I encourage my students to do so, not only to learn Spanish, but also to discover things about their own native language. As a teacher, I consider myself creative and practical, I can come up with activities and exercises on the spot to make my lessons more dynamic and fun, and I try to keep things simple and clear when a student is having a hard time with a topic that is difficult to understand. I know some topics can be harder than others, and not all students learn at the same pace, which is why I'm also very patient and respectful of my students' learning needs.

I am a native English speaker who is keen to impart my knowledge of the English language to those willing to learn! The main focus of my lessons is conversation and pronunciation.

I have been involved in education since 2008 when I started working in the performing arts department of a local secondary school. I soon moved into teaching and supporting students in English lessons, among others, and helped many children achieve their GCSEs in English Literature and English Language. Following that, I have worked in a number of local primary schools, teaching English, Maths and Foundation subjects. Recently I have moved into one to one tutoring of English full time. I am also a course writer for a Taiwanese English language company. I have written Practical English courses aimed at CEFR B2 and C1 levels, and am now writing an Elementary Business English course.

I am able to develop a personalised curriculum for one on one classes, teaching a broad range of subjects including Oral English, IELTS, Survival English and Academic Speaking.

Teaching language is my love and my students are my best friends. I love my job as a teacher because I have experienced sweat moments in this job. The impact a teacher has on the students’ life is not new to me.I feel completely satisfied when I see I was the origin of a positive change in a person’s life.
