I believe students need to learn English 'their way.' This means that every student learns differently and has different strengths. I help them find the gaps and give them the tools to become fluent and accurate in their English speaking. If the student needs conversation skills for business presentations, I provide the structure and practice to help them target their goals based on their immediate needs. Younger students need to reinforce the grammar they are learning in school with listening, oral reading, and writing assignments. I am by nature a structured teacher, but I like to make English real and usable for each student.

I started teaching Arabic 5 years ago and I taught over 1500 lessons on italki. As a language learner myself I know how challenging it can be to learn a language. I enjoy teaching Arabic and I made a lot of friends through teaching. I also think that I can help native Arabic speakers learn English. **Important note: Please note that you cannot cancel or reschedule a session in less than 5 hours before the scheduled time. I found my passion for teaching while in college when I quit my part-time job at a restaurant bussing tables. I followed the advice of a friend, who was a tutor, and started tutoring students for some extra cash. I tutored students in my major, which was Spanish, and eventually began helping English Language learners, as well. I found it to be such a rewarding experience; I loved it! I have worked with native speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Arabic and I have found that everyone has a unique perspective. Since graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I have had wonderful experiences teaching English in schools in Spain & France.

I have extensive experience of teaching in classroom and other formal settings but my preferred method is through personal tuition. I have been teaching a variety of subjects over the course of my professional life but languages have always played a major role. I am enthusiastic to work in a way that suits each individual student so it will be important for us to discuss what methods work best for you.

I graduated from Cambridge University in 1989. I qualified as a CELTA teacher in 2004 and have worked with International House and the British Council. I have taught General English, Business English, Legal English and Cambridge/IELTS Exam classes.

My lessons would be conversation-based practices. I want to make sure conversations are fun and engaging, and that the student feels encouraged each time they speak in English. I also offer grammar lessons, where we can review any grammar, reading, or writing needs you may have.

Hello Everyone! My name is Will, I am a Web Developer by day and an iTalki tutor by night! After a long career in financial services, I have decided to take a different direction and have moved into a new field of Information Technology. Being in a business environment for a very long time gave me an advantage in business speech and communication however due to my technical pursuit I am able to converse even on the most technical of topics.

I continue to help students discover how English works and how to enjoy using it. I achieve success with humour and a tenacious drive for excellent communication. My two decades of teaching enables me to provide relevant, real-time and robust ways for my students to improve their respective skills.

I have been teaching English both online and in the classroom for 5 years and prior to this was running Business Skills Workshops. Skills like Negotiation skills, Conflict Management, Organisational skills, Creative Thinking, Emotional Intelligence and many more. In high school, I found an immediate love for Spanish and everything language. Growing up where I did, I learnt a lot about how to help and to assist. I can't wait to teach you English using the "golden rule" -- teach as you would like to be taught.
