I’m interested in italki institution because it gives an opportunity to teach English to beginners and the advanced, and these are two things I value a lot – English professionals and young learners. I'm very patient, sociable, and a good listener. I have taught English to over 500 students from various parts of the world. It is my deepest desire to help us improve their English communication skills.

As a teacher I usually teach to my students the strategies that allowed me to speak three languages fluently. I learnt those strategies during the course of my life, looking out of the traditional academic schemes. I will teach you to be confident and to not be afraid of making mistakes, a crucial component for learning faster. I usually make the class a real conversation about the topics you prefer, in order to create the most relaxed environment possible, as if it was a talk with friends. Then, we will see together what we can improve about every areas of the language.

I am a fun, energetic and patient teacher. I am friendly and love to engage in different conversations. I believe that optimism and a positive attitude is the key to learning a language and that anything is possible if we work hard enough for it and have the right approach. I'm able to teach and explain vocabulary, idioms, phrasal verbs and grammar rules in both Korean and English.

As a teacher I am: Patient - I am always happy to have the same conversation again and again until it feels comfortable for you Creative - How many times can we talk about 'what you did today?' Let's learn new vocabulary! Let's pretend we're at a restaurant or at a job interview or mountain climbing! Organised - If we learn new words today, I will find a way to bring them into conversation tomorrow! I am always keeping notes on your progress. Encouraging - I will always push you! If you're comfortable using the word 'tired' let's try using 'exhausted' or maybe an expression like 'burnt-out' or even current slang like 'dead!' Flexible - If you need something different, you can ask! :)

As far as teaching goes. I have a TEFL (Teach English Foreign Language Qualification) and have been teaching English online since 2018 I’m best with teens and adults, but also competent with children from 8 years old and up.

I have a degree in English literature and an English language teaching qualification from CELTA. I have been teaching English for about three years, mostly online.

I have completed a Diploma in Educational Psychology and Teaching Skills for Educators with certification in TESOL and Working with Students with Special Needs. I have a lot of experience teaching one to one and online with Greek, Brazilian, European, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian students from complete beginners to advanced fluency and business English. I am very passionate about teaching languages. My method of teaching Hindi and English is easy and comprehensive. I keep my lessons flexible depending on the student's interest and requirements. For many years I worked in schools, in fact, I have been a pedagogical coordinator in one of them, and since 2015 I have been a private teacher. For two years nows I have been offering mostly online classes.

My style is more of a relaxed, informal approach. I will obviously have a structure to the lessons, but wish to adapt them according to what the student requires. As a teacher, I am very dynamic as I have taught several age groups over the years. I am, to some extent results-oriented and I work very hard to help my students achieve their language goals. Teaching has shaped my character and allowed me to see the world through the eyes of everyone student that has crossed paths with me. I believe that learning should be lifelong and holistic so I try to transmit this to my students so that they focus on their journey, their progress and of course the achievement of their goals on their time.
