I am a confident person; my experience has been in tutoring several school subjects for the last 5 years. I also have a TEFL qualification. My strengths are being disciplined, prepared, being friendly with students having an excellent environment for learning. I specialize in teaching IELTS Academic and IELTS General, I have been working for Delfin English school doing various intensive IELTS prep classes. As a teacher, I am very easy going and aim to work with students depending on their various needs. I can give students homework if necessary. As a language student myself I know how difficult and even scary it can be to begin learning a new language. That is why I like my classes to be relaxed and fun. In my experience as a teacher I have taught English language face-to-face to adults from many different countries. At the university level I have taught arts, humanities, communications academic writing, and literature.

I have always had a passion for sharing what I know. I started teaching English online over 3 years ago and I have a diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have experience in teaching students of all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and with specific needs (English for travel, business, academic purposes etc.)

Since I was 14 years old, I like learning languages that is why, currently, I study Modern Languages. I almost get my college degree. I always try to teach in the same way that I would like to be taught myself - by someone with a good understanding of the language that they are teaching, a sense of humor, a bit of patience and the ability to respond to students individual goals and needs.

Lots of people use the word “bubbly” when they talk about me, which means that I am always smiling and laughing, and have a positive attitude. While this is true, I am also a very serious teacher who works hard to provide my students with the tools they need to successfully learn the language.

I am creative and like my lessons to be fun, interactive and interesting. I like taking authentic resources from the real world and bringing them into my lessons. For example songs, news articles, movie clips and TED talks are some of the resources I use. I am also very organised and plan well in advance for my lessons. I like to personalise my lessons depending on the student, and after the lesson I provide error correction and feedback to help you correct your mistakes.

I have experience teaching English both in person and online. My students have ranged from age 5 to mid 50s. Additionally, the English level of my students have varied from complete beginners to advanced. I've been teaching English now for nearly two years and I'm currently in the process of receiving a certification.

I've taught Physical education from K- 12th grade. I've coached multiple sports and worked with kids of all ages. In the business world I've managed restaurants and supervised and coached at times up to 40 employees.

I have 6 years of corporate HR experience before I qualified as a teacher. Once qualified I taught at a state aided school for 2 years. I have also taught online for 1 and a half years. I always come across as very friendly and approachable to all my students.

Some people call me the most patient man in the world, and I think they're right. Although I'm still a community tutor, I'm studying to be a teacher, so I can help you with grammar, tenses, slang or anything else you would like to learn.
