I am a newly qualified TEFL and TESOL teacher. I don't have any teaching experience yet. We all have to start somewhere and I believe that the right door will open for me at the right time. I have also passed Home Education with distinction. I am currently studying Early Childhood Development and have passed my first module with distinction. I feel that my qualifications, coupled with my life experience and the fact that English is my native tongue will equip me to be a really good teacher.

I have a 120 hours TEFL certificate and experience teaching English online( for three years) and in person( for one year). I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education majoring in Mathematics and Geography teaching. Enjoy teaching English because it makes a huge difference to a lot of peoples lives with its benefits especially when travelling to other countries and learning about new things.

As an English/Persian interpreter and teacher in the past few years, I came across many language learners who have difficulty speaking or hearing correctly. Fixing this problem is what I do! In have helped many students to learn both languages (Persian/English). My main focus is upon conversation & fluency. Teaching my compatriots living outside of Iran and teaching the sweet language of Persian to my English-speaking students helped me to become more familiar with the demands and problems they face and to create a two-way bridge to overcome these obstacles. What helped me the most to learn a new language was to have conversations with a native speaker who knew that I was still learning. I found it really helpful be be corrected in an understanding, constructive way so that is what I try to do. Questions are appreciated and encouraged! I also prefer flexibility to rigid structure as it can sometimes be more beneficial to follow tangents, so I have a simple lesson outline which changes depending on students needs. *PLEASE NOTE*I do not tutor children aged 12 and under. The lessons are basically focused on developing your conversation skills . I will help you with pronunciation and understanding the cultural aspects of the language. My name is Anita, and I am Portuguese. I am a Portuguese and English teacher. I'm a native Portuguese teacher and an experienced and certified English teacher. I'm comfortable teaching different levels and my goal is to make learning fun and useful.

I found my passion for teaching while in college when I quit my part-time job at a restaurant bussing tables. I followed the advice of a friend, who was a tutor, and started tutoring students for some extra cash. I tutored students in my major, which was Spanish, and eventually began helping English Language learners, as well. I found it to be such a rewarding experience; I loved it! I have worked with native speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Arabic and I have found that everyone has a unique perspective. Since graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I have had wonderful experiences teaching English in schools in Spain & France.

Throughout my business career I've trained many people and have become well-practised in patiently coaching and developing staff. Also, having learnt languages myself, I've taken the same journey as my students, so I know the challenges! I apply all of this experience to my teaching. I learnt in the CELTA course to carefully stage lessons to suit my students' levels and abilities. After receiving my CELTA Certificate 10 years ago I started teaching in an academy called Trinity Language Institute in Sant Cugat del Vallès. I was there teaching a range of levels for 2 years including in-company classes. After learning the ropes I decided to turn Self-Employed and fully dedicate my time to In-Company classes. I have also been examining Cambridge exams for 6 years.

I am a TEFL qualified English Teacher with over 2 years of teaching experience. I teach General English as well as IELTS and TOEFL preparation courses to students of different levels. I am also a Mandarin Chinese teacher with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Literature and Translation. I have been living in China for 5 years now and have been speaking Chinese every day. I have my BA from Bellarmine University and hold an Advanced Certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Learning a new language is one of the most incredible ways to learn about people, explore new ways of thinking and challenge yourself to be better. Two years ago I started teaching on Italki and also gave extra lesson to high school students. From August 2017 until December 2018 I taught German and English in a language school in Ho Chi Minh City. The biggest city in Vietnam and gained a lot of experience in teaching in front of a class. During this time I realized one of the biggest challenges in learning a language. Self-confidence. Also the structure and way of teaching was not always efficient. In order to support the Vietnamese education system and especially the students, together with my Co-Founders we set up our own German language center in Vietnam. Currently we teach all levels and hope to inspire more young students!
