I have been teaching on Italki for almost four years now. I can look back on teaching people from dozens of countries around the world. Young, old, children, teenagers, business people, students - people from all kinds of cultures and with unique expectations. Additionally, I had been a student myself on Italki for about another two years before. I know how it feels like to attend your first lesson ever and what you need to have a fun, enjoyable and worthwhile lesson. Anyone is welcome and I would love to be your German teacher, too.

As a teacher, I like to create a relaxed learning environment so that you feel confident in speaking your mind. I find that engaging in friendly conversation is the best way to learn English. I will not only be your teacher, but also a friend, helping to you develop you English level with ease and confidence. As a language learner myself, I understand that making mistakes are an important part of the learning process. And it is also important to learn from these mistakes. As your teacher, I will correct and explain all of your mistakes without interrupting you so that you can speak freely and confidently. I will provide instant feedback on those mistakes after each lesson.

I have had students as young as five years old and as old as seventy-six! I've taught complete beginners to advanced learners. I'm happy to help you on your journey!

When I was in the U.S, I met many international students from Colombia, Mexico and Spain. They had gotten work in the country to try and improve their English and experience other parts of the world. This is where it all started for me. Being able to interact with them and guide them through the language, seeing their progress and proficiency improve was incredibly rewarding and made me feel incredibly proud. I have no professional experience as a teacher but believe that my people orientated values and patience will help me get you to where you want to be with the english language.

I am a very patient and helpful teacher. I am friendly and understanding. I know what it's like to learn a language because I am studying Thai and Chinese myself. I feel privileged to be able to help others learn English.

I currently have about 25-30 English students online through a different company. I am one of the top teachers their as the students like my methods of encouragement when it comes to teaching. I learned this from my time working as a teacher at a school in St Petersburg Florida. I worked there for four years as a teacher of both music and middle school English. I have a dual bachelors degree from UW Oshkosh in English Education and Violin Performance. I am also an avid violin teacher as well. I have done well as an online teacher and hope to teach on your platform as well.

I have learned languages in many different ways, although my preference is surrounding myself with the language, meaning, listening to the music, watching movies, reading in the target language, and speaking to the natives. I have learned languages with the traditional method, meaning, going to classes, learning vocabulary and grammar, although this process takes a lot of time and is not always applicable in real life situations. I believe that everyone knows people that have been learning languages for years and cannot use the language to communicate with others. I believe that this is wasted time and that this system of learning is not the best.

I am patient, qualified and ready at any time to be a tutor for a new learner. My secret recipe for success of learning language for ex-Hindi is to put yourself in a real situation : stopping a rickshaw, ordering in a restaurant, making new friends or having a political conversation. During each lesson, I give vocabulary and grammar tools to make you speak/read really quickly. If a student wants to focus on a particular subject or language aspect, we will also take the time.

I'm a PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and RESULT-ORIENTED teacher. Understanding the motivation and the aims of a student enables me to teach the language fast and effectively. I consider it to be important to use a tailor-made approach to each student as each person has his or her own peculiarities, needs and interests. To my mind, the most effective way of teaching the language is via the interests of the student as it makes the lessons captivating, effective and fun.

I have over five years teaching and training experiences. Over the past three years, I have taught English online to children and adults at all experience levels. I have completed over 4500+ online lessons and have proven success in helping students achieve their goals. I also have additional experience in examination preparation, IELTS examinations and business/academic English. I have a Bachelor's Degree and TEFL Certification.

I started my career as a private tutor and then taught English to teenagers at a private language school while working on my master’s. I then realized that I’d love to teach Russian as a foreign language too so I signed up for a special course at my alma mater. Then I taught English and Russian at a university and I also have experience of teaching corporate clients. At the moment I’m working at a language training centre and as a private teacher.

I have many years’ experience working with children of different ages in different capacities. For 3 years I taught children between 3-6 of different backgrounds and levels of English understanding. I had just over a year experience teaching teenagers between 12-18 doing many different activities and lessons. I also coached 15/16-year olds netball. I have au paired for a family and their main reason for employing me was to teach the children English, I used a variety of different activities to help the children improve their English skills. I use many different resources and I enjoy customizing my lesson plans for each student.

I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for 12 years and have a wide range of experience. I recently graduated (at the age of 58) with a Masters in Education. I also have certification in Trinity TESOL to Diploma Level. I am able to offer IELTS training, General British English and Business English and also offer pre-sessional Academic English. I can provide all the materials for lessons. Teaching is a joy and definitely my vocation. My extensive experience includes teaching positions in such countries as Austria, Germany, Belgium, Cambodia, Thailand and the Czech Republic. I have been teaching online for 6 years and also have experience teaching Chinese children.

I'm certified to teach English as a Second language, am a member of the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) organization, and have a Master’s in Business Administration. I enjoy teaching because I have the ability to make a difference in the lives of those I teach. It's rewarding to watch students reach their goals by helping them improve their English-speaking skills.

After obtaining TEFL Certification from the Language Institute at Chiang Mai University I taught classes at Pro Language Chiang Mai in 2008. I remained there until returning home from Thailand in February of 2009. Since then I have done private English tutoring in Thailand, Mexico, and United States.

I am a professional teacher and have passed my CELTA or certification to teach English to speakers of other languages, administered by University of Cambridge. In addition to this, I am entering my final year of college, double-majoring in English and Education. I have experience teaching students of all ages and from a large variety of countries such as Russia, Japan, China, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, Venezuela, etc. Wherever you are from, I would love to learn more about you and have the opportunity to assist your English language learning.

I don't believe in boring sessions. I truly do believe that learning should be fun. I don't care how shy you are, I know I will be able to make you feel more confident in your speaking and comprehension skills. I don't have a typical lesson plan.
