También he dado cursos de preparación TOEFL y cursos especializados en negocios. I’ve been giving classes of English and Spanish for 5 years. I’ve given classes to students that are beginners, intermediate, advances and kids. I’ve also taught courses to prepare for the TOEFL exam and business related.

I am a certified TEFL teacher and have a bachelor's degree in language studies. I have taught many different age groups ranging from small children all the way up to adults. I have years of teaching experience and I have taught English as a second language for about 3 years.

I have been teaching English here in Bogota for 2 and a half years and photography for 5 years. I have a PTLLS level 4 qualification in teaching and a Ba(Hons) degree in photography.

The most important thing for me as a teacher is the progress of the students I am working with. The learning is always the priority, so I make sure that my lessons are set up with this in mind..For me, it´s important that the lessons are fun and engaging, as I think this helps people to learn more naturally. Keeping a sense a humor can help learners to negotiate tricky new skills and concepts without getting to stressed out or worried in the process. Despite this, I am very serious about teaching as it´s so important for me that my students do the very best that they can. I am organized and plan all the lessons and I am creative in my approach, adapting to different peoples learning styles.

As a teacher I try to tailor my lessons to whatever suits the students needs, be that going through homework and exam preparation, or simply trying to improve on speaking skills.

After obtaining TEFL Certification from the Language Institute at Chiang Mai University I taught classes at Pro Language Chiang Mai in 2008. I remained there until returning home from Thailand in February of 2009. Since then I have done private English tutoring in Thailand, Mexico, and United States.

I started to teach when I was 19 and I never regret about this professional choice. My youngest student was 6, my oldest one - 72 when they firstly came into classroom. I care about speaking normally (correctly) -that means correcting things. I don't say "it's ok.. people will understand. Students often know grammar, but don't know how to use things, eg: I have to/I should/I must or I'm going/I'm going to go/I will go, etc. # I want to teach you to use them like native people. I also teach pronunciation and can help you using pronunciation form your language (if I know it). I can teach the speaking section of IELTS and TOEFL. I can help you to answer the questions well.
