Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. For me every lesson is my personal promise to give my best attitude and knowledge to every single student. Throughout years of study I tested on my own skin various approaches to language learning and I know clearly what works and what does not. I’m a friendly and patient person that people find easy to communicate with. My voice is clear and easily comprehensible. I have taught many different levels so I am able to easily adapt my voice to the level of the student. My accent is very neutral for an Australian (in fact many people think I’m British when they first hear me speak). I really encourage students to ask as many questions as they can. I can also teach you effective study skills and self study techniques.

As a teacher I am very patient, speaking slowly and carefully and checking the student’s pronunciation and understanding. I am able to think of and present new ways of explaining a particular point should the student have difficulty in understanding. I am professional in my manner and appearance and have excellent time keeping. I believe in constructive criticism and also lots of praise to give the student confidence.

Even if you make mistakes when speaking, that's okay! I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degree. I will do my best to help you on your path of English learning, and I believe we can make quick progress, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students comfortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated.

I have been teaching English online for 4 years now and I have taught students from across several countries like France, Japan, Korea and many others and at different levels. I was certified as a TEFL teacher in England. Since then, I have taught at all levels and all ability groups and ran numerous workshops. I had the chance to live in different countries and I discovered, getting to know a culture is a way into learning a new language. I also cooperate with Leibniz University Hannover as a tutor.

I am a very patient teacher. I have watched how students learn and the learners skill will set the pace and focus. A person can only learn effectively if they are relaxed and that is what I aim to focus on. Lessons can be laid back, more focused on conversational practice, or more intense- with focus on creating increased awareness of difficulties in speech or understanding.

Good communication, good articulation mean a lot to me. No matter how much you know, how much you have acquired, if you are not good at articulating yourself, you rock the boat especially in teaching. As once a great Farsi writer living in this country (Rumi) said "...You can only explain as much as who listens to you can understand." In that sense Teaching is always more than transmitting knowledge. A teacher always represents an identity regardless of different learning settings. Looking upon my student years, teachers whom I admire are not those who perhaps know the most but the ones who could express themselves the best.
