Online Arabic classes with personalized tutors

I have been teaching for many years up till now. Am an online Arabic teacher and have a certificate in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign language "CC TAFl “from the American University in Cairo. I like teaching because the students get the best of what they need. We focus on the four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I design my materials according to student needs.

I've been teaching Arabic online for free to help serious people who are interested in this language, and I just decided to reach more people from all around the world! I'm often told that I'm patient, warm, and considerate. I also believe that I'm a very good listener and I give enough time for everyone to think and rephrase their answers before I interrupt them.

I am here to help you achieve your goal and reach your objectives for learning Arabic, Quran, or English whether it was speaking the language, learning how to read or write, getting ready for your exams, communicating with your partner or whatever your personal reason is. Together we will tailor a curriculum that suits your objectives and makes you reach your goals efficiently. I believe I am very patient, encouraging and relaxed so even if you're a beginner I'd help you step by step to improve and speak fluently. I use different materials & methods that'd make you reach your ultimate potentials such as; flashcards, audios, videos, files, books ..etc.

Teaching languages is something I’ve done since I was in elemntary school… I used to tutor my friends and classmates, help them with grammar and writing homework and all of them appreciated my techniques. To reach a native-like proficiency, I think the best way is to think in that language. And since this can be very challenging, I promise my students to be patient, I'm all ears during and outside of study time.

I have learnt English since I was a child and 3 years ago I started to learn Turkish. Being able to learn two languages other than my native in different periods of my life helped to know where to focus and find the most useful ways of teaching Arabic. i am a native Arabic speaker i also speak English very well. i studied TESOL at Arizona State University and learned a lot of strategies and techniques that i can use in teaching Arabic . I have been teaching Math last year in a secondary school for several levels, it was a good experience for me, also during my student years, I been giving particular courses, so that makes me understand more about teaching and what student wait from a teacher. For the last five years after been graduated in IT, I start studying and learning languages, I learn English and Spanish from the beginning, without being in a physical course, so I collect a lot of skills on how to learn a language that I can share with you.

I graduated from the department of languages at University and I have experience in teaching non-native Arabic speakers. I have taught Arabic to a number of students and they all loved the language. I enjoy teaching Arabic to my students. I can teach just adults in a simple and uncomplicated way. We can have conversations together as well as grammar lessons and writing skills. I can also give homework to each student to prepare on their own and then we can review it together during our next lesson. I am so patient, flexible and friendly. I can repeat many times. I am also so flexible, I don't have a problem if a student asks me to change the topic or reschedule lessons....

Beside teaching on iTalki I work as a private tutor here in Istanbul and I also work on different projects for teaching both standard and spoken Arabic. Some of these projects are: • Arabic Workshop: an audios & videos library for learning MSA. I work as a script writer and assist in curriculum development • Fluent Forever: a platform where you can learn a vast number of languages. of course one of these languages is Arabic. I work with them on developing a course for teaching Syrian Arabic dialect • Conversations Unbound: an NGO that connects students from American universities with Arabic tutors. I work with them as a board member as well as a tutor.

As a teacher, I believe that I have a lot to give. Whether it's language-wise or just by bringing comfort to my students and create a safe place for them. Where they can learn and practise while making mistakes, without feeling shy or afraid of doing so. That will surely help them gain the confidence they need to speak up, as this is one of the biggest and most important aspects to learn a language.

I usually teach friends and people I meet on tandems for language exchanges and if they are interested in learning Arabic formally I give them classes, usually face to face but during the pandemic, I start to give online classes, so now I think I can start to enlarge my target.

In Baghdad, I taught Arabic to high school students, and when I moved to Turkey in 2011, I became a tutor here, as well. For almost a year, I have also given lessons on italki, where I have taught Arabic (MSA) - both grammar and conversation.

I have a BA in education department of English. I teach English as a second language in my country so I do have a good background in teaching and learning languages. I've been teaching online for two years and I have also worked as a translator from English to Arabic and vise versa. My favourite communication app is Zoom. I've started teaching in 2012 as a student, I was teaching online and in-person and then I opened my language center in 2015.
