Do you want to improve your English for work, travel or study? Do you want to practice for an interview or test? I am an experienced and CELTA qualified teacher of EFL / ESL for adults, including business and general English. I am flexible and responsive to your needs. I also have extensive experience in retail management, educational management and administration and customer service in a variety of industries including real estate, medicine and architecture. When you ask for my help with Business English you can be sure that I have a real understanding of the business world. I also offer proof reading / correction of documents and am happy to help you with your essays, reports and theses.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching on italki since 2012 and have taught over 3,000 lessons, to more than 200 students, with an average rating of 5.0. I started teaching English as a community volunteer in North Carolina, USA and have more than ten years experience as a professional English teacher and instructor in the UK, Japan and Spain, I have taught private lessons, and group classes in language schools, companies and on government funded programmes. I have degrees in Business Studies and Economics and two teaching qualifications. My experience includes general, business, medical and legal English, test preparation and conversation as well as interview preparation. Use Skype, Zoom or italki classroom

My lessons & teaching style

I enjoy helping students develop their speaking skills, both for business & leisure purposes or to help them pass oral exams. I have a large supply of exam materials to help you effectively prepare for IELTS and Cambridge exams. Because of my extensive experience I am usually able to create a course for your specific needs, such as preparing for an exam, an interview, a presentation or a new job. My professional students include doctors, lawyers, IT experts, engineers and many others. I also offer conversation classes based on authentic and contemporary materials. Please note : I do not teach children. You should be 18 or over or at least a senior in high school to book a lesson Thanks

She was easy-going and I usually feel comfortable when I take Jenni's lesson. She is punctual and patient for her students. I could practise several tests like the actual tests with her, which got me more comfortable in the real test.

I have turned to Jenni to help me undertake my Cambridge CEP exam. I knew that my main weakness was spoken English, because I have little opportunity to practice my speaking abilities. Jenni has helped me tremendously by making me feel at ease and engaging with me in pleasant conversation. And as a competent teacher, she corrected my mistakes without disrupting the natural flow of the conversation.
