About Me

I am a native Turkish speaker and I live in Turkey. I can speak English fluently. I am a phd student on media studies. My study is journalism so you can talk me about almost everything such as media, politics, education, science, your hobbies etc. My hobbies are reading (especially with my e book reader), biking, travelling and meeting new people.

Me as a Teacher

I believe three things are very important to learn a new language; the firts one is motivation. Learning a new language takes long time so you need a good motivation to continue. The second is pratice. Daily practise is really important to improve your langauge skills. And third, the most important thing that you should enjoy this learning process. This is my point of view. So if you choose my lessons, my first aim will be keep you motivated.Than I will help you to find useful and enjoyable learning method for you.

My lessons & teaching style

I can help you to improve your writing, reading, speaking and listening. I am a good internet user so I can find effective materials for you such as applications, short films, podcasts, enjoyable readings etc. You can ask me any questions whenever you want with e mail. You dont have to wait for lesson time. So please dont hesistate to ask or write me.

Merve was very patient with my kids and in 30 minutes I could see they learned some basic Turkish. She is a very good teacher, I would recomend her to my friends and family.
