Hi, I'm from Alaska and I love to teach new students the English language. I have a degree in English and a graduate degree in writing. I write feminist plays and stories, and I'm very passionate about social justice causes. When I'm not writing, I love to hike, backpack, rock climb, and perform comedy.

Me as a Teacher

I believe one of the greatest tools for learning is having a goal. Sometimes students come in with a goal - they want to pass a test or be able to speak fluently while traveling. Other times, we can create a goal together, whether that is writing a short story in English, reading a story they love in the native English, or learning to perform comedy. I am also happy to have a casual conversation and work at a pace you are comfortable with.
