About Me

Hi! My name is Anna. I'm from Glasgow in Scotland, and currently I'm living in Seville in the south of Spain. I'm a full-time English teacher with an MA in History and a professional background in marketing and communications, and I'm also a part-time professional writer.

Me as a Teacher

I have well over a year of experience teaching English in one-to-one online classes. I am passionate about teaching and languages, and I would love to help you improve your confidence with English! I believe that the process of learning a language should be engaging, rewarding and fun. I look forward to helping you grow in confidence with English through conversation. I also specialise in IELTS preparation,academic English, and Business English, and can create a bespoke course tailored to your individual needs which will ensure you get the very best out of our lessons together :) I look forward to speaking with you!

My lessons & teaching style

I always aim to provide excellent results with a sense of fun, and I believe that confidence is the key to mastering a language, so if you find that you struggle to find the confidence to speak, then I will help you to overcome shyness and fear and become a more active speaker. I also focus a lot on structured conversation to help you practice your speech, and I will provide plenty of practice exercises for you to try in order to cement the concepts what we learn together.
