About Me

Hi there, I'm Hans, I'm 32 years old, and I was born and raised a german in Barcelona, Spain. A bit about my background: For the last 8 years, i have worked as a Dubai based flight attendant. My favourite part of that job is to have the chance to interact with people from all ages and very different backgrounds, which also gave me the chance to teach german and spanish to many different people. I consider myself a very curious person and I am always learning somehing new. I truly believe in: "Once you stop learning, you start dying".

Me as a Teacher

I started teaching german when I was in high school and haven't stopped since! I teach german and spanish to people of all ages and levels. Having lived abroad for several years, I have a great understanding of how is it to have to communicate on a daily basis in a language that's not your native one, and I've found my own techniques to make learning a language more simple. I can provide you a wide range of materials that I had been working with during my more than 5 years as language teacher for adults and as well children, in different countries. My mission is to always give my 100% in every class and adapt every minute to the class to your needs in order to

My lessons & teaching style

I'd like to start with a little conversation, questions and asnwers to see your level and how far can we push it during a class. You may be asked to do some work on your own if you wish to do so, in order to make the most of every second of the lesson by clarifying your doubts and putting into practise what you have learnt until now. I work with a wide selection of teaching materials, from books to learning websites, and I love to use activities specifically tailored to every student´s profile and needs. We will do role plays, presentations, speaking activities with flashcards and games, and you will be guided towards your objective while having fun along your learning journey.
