About Me

Hi! Mabuhay! My name is Victoria Jade but you can call me Jade for short. I am a native speaker of both English and Filipino from Philippines. I am graduate of Bachelor Science in Elementary education major in General Curriculum with 2 years of work experience as an ESL teacher and 1 year experience as a grade 2 science teacher. I am patient with my students and passionate about teaching. My work experience helped me to understand their skill sets so that I could properly guide them in class. As an individual I am very friendly and likes to have meaningful conversations with everyone I meet.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I am very considerate and understanding when it comes to the needs of my learners. Not because it is my job but because I understand their frustrations and their goals in their journey for learning a certain language. I provide good guidance when it comes to prioritizing the lessons that are essential for the learners to learn. For the background of my work, I've had a 2year ESL teaching experience as a TOEIC, IELTS and ESL instructor for foreign students from 5 different countries namely: Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam.

My lessons & teaching style

I could teach a variety of lessons in a flexible manner. I adjust my teaching style to the skills that the learners need to learn. I choose to facilitate learning and encourage my students.
