About Me

Tell me what you love and I'll tell you what you are, right? Apart from languages my favourite things are British TV-series, literature (esp. Russian), chocolate, travelling, learning new stuff and midnight philosophising with my best friends. More than anything else, I love good stories. No matter where they come from: a book, a film or a song, an object or a person. If you understand what I mean, we'll definitely get on!

Me as a Teacher

Patience is my middle name :) I've worked with small groups and individual students of all ages at school. For more than 4 years I've been teaching English both off- and online. Lately, I've started teaching my native language and I absolutely adore it! It was great to know that so many people across the globe are interested in Russian language and that they can be so dedicated and hard-working! And I'm trying my best to help them fall in love with Russia, its language and its culture

My lessons & teaching style

I'm a huge fan of communicative and student-oriented language learning approaches. That means that in my lessons we'll be working on your grammar, vocabulary and language skills 'in a natural way', i.e. through sharing interests and opinions, reading stories, authentic magazine and news articles or watching videos that are interesting FOR YOU. If playing language games sounds ok to you, too, I'm always in!
