About Me
italki teacher since Apr 22, 2021
Hi, I'm Teacher Mariz, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Davao City, Philippines. I took up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management. I'm a mommy of 3 adorable rabbits named Salt, Pepper, and Goldy. My hobbies are watching movies, listening to music, and playing instruments such as guitar, drums, and piano. During my spare time, I enjoy being together with my family and friends playing cards and board games. I love meeting new people from around the world and learning about their culture.
Me as a Teacher
What makes an effective teacher is patience and teaching passionately with the right attitude creates passionate learners. Thus, making a positive impact on a student's life is making a difference to the world. I am a fun and happy person as well.
My lessons & teaching style
I want my students to become more motivated in learning. I encourage them to ask questions and let them express what they want to express. Mistakes are okay and it's one way of learning. My goal is to help my students achieve their greatest potentials to speak with confidence especially with the language that they want to learn.
