About Me

Bonjour, je m’appelle Matthias. Born and raised in Paris, I currently live in the Philippines. I also lived in Thailand, Canada and travelled to about 15 countries. French tutor on italki, I also work for an event company, setting up for live shows, opera... I am currently learning web development and aim to become a software engineer. I love traveling, meeting people from different culture, try different food.. As well as arts, technology and business. I would describe myself as friendly, patient and understanding.

Me as a Teacher

It is always a pleasure helping others learn French and to see them progress in their fluency. I consider that every student is different. I adapt and customize the lesson to your needs, personal expectations and current French language ability. We will be keeping track of your progress, using a shared document, where you can write or review between lessons.

My lessons & teaching style

I help beginner, intermediate and advanced level adults. For a significant other, a job, to travel or simply out of curiosity, it is always a good idea to learn a new language. Let me help you gain the ability to be independent during your travel, talk with your friends or pass that french test. Send me a message and let's talk about your current level and goals :)

Merci beaucoup Matthias! I feel I have learned so much in just 5 days.. from new vocabulary, to pronunciation, liasons, new verbs and I can also see some improvement in my writting, speaking and listening but I have a long way to go. Look forward to more classes with you :)
