About Me

Hey everyone, I'm Allison and I was born and raised in a small town near Rome. My mother is originally from the U.S.; she moved to Italy after meeting my father over thirty years ago. I studied Archaeology in Rome and then got my Master's degree in Prehistoric Archaeology in Ferrara, where I still live and work as a librarian. I would be happy to help beginner and intermediate students focused on improving their speaking skills. I will try my best to be clear and thorough in explaining how to better express yourselves to sound as fluent and natural as possible.

Me as a Teacher

As a tutor, I help beginner and intermediate students who are mostly focused on improving their Italian speaking skills. I enjoy having conversations and try my best to be clear and thorough in explaining how to better express oneself to sound as fluent and natural as possible. I'm usually pretty agreeable.

My lessons & teaching style

The most important thing to me during a lesson would be making you, my interlocutor, feel as comfortable as possible. I will encourage you to talk and ask questions and I will do the same, we can have general conversations about a wide range of topics, and also practice for presentations, dissertations, or speaking exams. My focus is to improve your fluency as well as your confidence while speaking English or Italian.
