About Me

I have been teaching since 2012. I hold a TESOL, and a TEFL certificate. I got my BA in Language Education with honors. I have had the chance to teach people of different ages (the youngest one was 2 years old, really!). I have taught at different institutes and universities, and since 2015, I have been teaching online. I also work as a proofreader of novels translated from English to Spanish. My lessons & teaching style
As a teacher, I like to make my students feel at ease. I like to use a communicative approach and make sure that every student learns something new in class, whether it be grammar, pronunciation, or expressions native speakers use in daily life. In our first session, we will discuss your objectives and interests, and we will have a sample lesson. I've been doing the Intermediate lessons. Daniel has gone through imperfecto vs preterito and now we are doing el subjunctivo.
He quizzes me to help build skills, corrects mistakes (at least some of them...), and he speaks slowly enough to be understood. And he is friendly enough that talking to him is not a chore.
