About Me

Hello everyone! I am Domingo. I am from Venezuela, but I live in Italy. I speak English (C1), Italian (C1) and I am a native Spanish speaker. I teach Spanish privately and translate fluidly between all 3 languages. I was a Supervisor at the Ministry of Education in Venezuela. I love teaching. My specialty is on pedagogy since I have a teaching degree. Furthermore, I received the certification in Spanish language teaching from the Cervantes Institute in Spain. I completed a course about how to design didactic materials and teach according to the student's needs at the University of Murcia in Spain. I also received the Qualified level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Me as a Teacher

I really love the art of teaching and I often read books about how to learn and how to teach. I am a poet, writer, blogger, and a great teacher. I had been working as a teacher for 15 years, and all I can conclude is that it is exceptionally challenging and a long term process of learning. In my opinion, teaching is like a theater play. I prepare my classroom like scenery with different materials and use my own body to teach and act as the main actor of the play.

My lessons & teaching style

I can teach you how to learn smarter, better then you can learn as many languages as you want. I will guide you not only as a teacher, but also as a coach. In school there are lots of traditional teachers who teach you what to learn, but not how to learn. Learning is a lifelong and endless process, so for that reason, you need to know the following details: · How to explore. · How your brain functions. · How to read and listen to music. · How to translate and compare different languages. · The importance of repetition and doing a plan, etc.

I have been taking lessons with Domingo for about 2 weeks now, and it has been great! I am a complete beginner in Spanish, and he has been teaching me the basics while also pushing me to learn more advanced phrases. He uses a variety of tools that are really helpful.

Very short, time confusion on his part, I booked 11 am my local time his time would be different he decided to message me at 10 telling me where I'm I told him I booked for 11 am. well lesson was very short.
