About Me

Hello / Merhaba / Hola My name is Ali I am from Syria I live in Istanbul I can speak Turkish and English and a little bit of Spanish I was working in tourism in Istanbul (tour guide) I work as a translator sometimes I write poetry sometimes I love listening to poetry and poems I love traveling, camping, photography and cycling I also have interests in design, recycling, decoration and drawing Actually, I am interested in everything artistic and beautiful

Me as a Teacher

Besides working here at Italki I work as a volunteer teacher with some associations that help displaced people and their children I’m an experienced tutor in the arabic language the standard formal one ( fusha ) or the spoken one ( Ammeya ) Levantine dialect

My lessons & teaching style

Every person learns differently, so my methods are not the same for everyone. However, I like the main conversational style that unconsciously and consciously involves people in the language deeply. You can tell me whatever you want to talk about that. Daily practice is an important part of learning a language and I assist you to learn successfully and enjoyably We will work on the four skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening I use videos, songs, books, and podcasts I am knowledgeable about many different topics Hope to see you soon.
