About Me

I was an Export Manager and a successful International businessman for over 30 years; I've been teaching Business English to all levels of personnel (from factory workers to C.E.O.s) in corporations and the Chamber of Commerce since 2015. I'm from the U.S.A., and have been living in Spain permanently since 1992. I have a B.S. of Business Administration degree (ADE) from Miami University of Ohio, and I have the TESOL certification. My hobbies include music and photography and sports. I play the trumpet and saxophone (badly!) and I enjoy playing (or trying to play) tennis.

Preparing for a job interview? A presentation or meeting? Just need to improve your comprehension and pronunciation skills so you can communicate more effectively? I can help you! - I originally started teaching English in 1981, but then I went to the industrial world, and worked in the export departments of different companies, both in the U.S.A. and here in Spain. returned to teaching full-time in 2015, where I currently work for a well-known Spanish company, doing both face-to-face as well as video conference classes, both for groups as well as for individuals. I have also taught Business English in the Camara de Comercio de Valencia (Valencia Chamber of Commerce).

My lessons & teaching style

My motto is "correct every mistake, immediately!" I like to ask a lot of questions in class, so that you (the student) is the one talking the majority of the time, and I can converse on a wide range of topics. I have a vast knowledge in the Corporate (business) world, so Business English is a huge strong point for me. I suggest that you start out with a trial lesson, so you can see how I can help YOU obtain your goals, starting immediately!
