My name is Robert and I am a native speaker of American English. Let me be your adventure guide as you tackle English. I live in the USA, and I love to travel. In fact, I have been to more than 50 countries and all seven of the world's continents. I would love to hear about what you are passionate about! Let me help you with your conversational, business, or academic English.

Me as a Teacher

I have been in education for more than 20 years, and have worked as a translator and private tutor throughout that time as well. Languages are my passion, so much I have learned several languages (Spanish C2, German B1) and begun working on a third (French A1). I understand the joys and frustrations that come with learning a foreign language and want to walk with you as you take on English.

My lessons & teaching style

My profession is teaching, so I know how to connect with students. The importance of relationship-building as a means to create a conversation is of utmost importance. If you are a beginner we will begin with everyday use of the language, and if you are an advanced learner I will walk you through the nuances of American use of the language, including idioms, accent work, and technical English. I love to use videos and action photos to work through each lesson.
