I'm a Professional Japanese Teacher who has been teaching in Japanese language schools all around Singapore since 2010. I hold a Degree in Linguistics, which has helped me understand the science of how languages are learnt, and this has allowed me to devise methods to help my students learn faster. Till now, I've taught thousands of students from all over the world - from kids to adults, from complete beginners to further advanced levels. I am committed to guide you through your learning journey. I believe that learning should be fun, so I often teach not only the language, but about the culture as well. My lessons & teaching style
☆Beginners☆ Japanese characters(Hiragana, Katakana),Grammar from elementary textbook such as Minna no Nihongo, Conversation practise, Reading and Listening practise.
☆Advanced☆ Kanji (if you wish), Advanced grammar, Conversation practise, Reading and Listening practise.
☆Kids☆ I've taught primary school students in Singapore.
In my lesson, I cover 4 skills (Speaking,Listening,Reading and Writing). If you have any request to do, please let me know so that I can customise lesson for only you.

My son loves his lessons with Misato-sensei. She is very patient, systematic and thorough with all her lessons. My son learns reading, writing, conversation and listening all in one lesson, each and every time. Misato-sensei also has homework to reinforce knowledge, and she always reviews so he does not forget easily -- always a good lesson with her! Arigatou gozaimasu, Misato-sensei!!

Misato-sensei is an excellent teacher for my 9 year old son. He went from zero knowledge of Japanese to now able to say simple sentences, listening, reading and writing. She is very patient and experienced in teaching children. My son enjoys her lessons and exercises. We will definitely book more lessons with her if we can (the only problem we have is time-difference because we live in the U.S.) -- we really love her. Arigatou gozaimasu, Misato-sensei!!
