I have learned languages in many different ways, although my preference is surrounding myself with the language, meaning, listening to the music, watching movies, reading in the target language, and speaking to the natives. I have learned languages with the traditional method, meaning, going to classes, learning vocabulary and grammar, although this process takes a lot of time and is not always applicable in real life situations. I believe that everyone knows people that have been learning languages for years and cannot use the language to communicate with others. I believe that this is wasted time and that this system of learning is not the best. My lessons & teaching style
I will be honest and say that I will bring you out of your comfort zone with every session of learning the Latvian language with me. I will teach you the language by teaching basic sentences and then teach you how you can replace words so you have a larger variety of sentences that you can use. I will first concentrate on basics, I will teach you how to talk about yourself and then how you can talk about other topics. When you will feel comfortable with speaking to others, not just with me on this website, you will start to learn the language in a different way and at that point you will learn more vocabulary and at faster rate as to learning from a workbook.My teaching material
