About Me

As a qualified and highly experienced teacher, I have taught students from around the world and I work with English language schools in the UK & Ireland. My specialism is teaching Business English/Professional English and preparing students for Examinations (IELTS and Cambridge Exams). I also offer an Individualised Business/ Academic Project Service, this is where I help you to prepare for your specific professional goal (e.g. doing a presentation or writing a document). Or, if you are just looking to improve your general English skills and practise having a conversation, I offer this service as well. Outside of teaching I enjoy sports, playing music and reading.

Me as a Teacher

I have an extensive background in education and I am a qualified English Teacher and Business English Teacher. I have been teaching a range of subjects for over ten years and my experience has taught me that every student is unique. So, I like to take the time to understand how my students learn, what their language learning goals are and their motivation for learning. Furthermore, I am a patient teacher who likes to encourage and guide my students on their language learning journeys in order to help them achieve the results they want. I believe my methodology helps students to get to where they want to much quicker because a motivated and focussed student is ultimately more successful.

My lessons & teaching style

I teach a wide range of lessons: Business English and Professional Development (for students looking to improve their English in a professional environment). Examination Practice (for a range of examinations including IELTS and Cambridge exams and any other English exams students may wish to prepare for). Project Preparation (for professional students looking to put together a well-structured project delivered accurately in English). Conversation Practice and General English Improvement (for all students). Although my lessons are quite structured, students have a say in what it is they want to focus on in their learning, so they can get the most out of their classes.
