I am a Degree holder from University of Nairobi, As a single Mum, and a sole breadwinner for my 2 kids, I was tasked with the responsibility to ensure they get the right education required. I would find myself helping my kids with their Swahili assignments and E- learning especially during this Pandemic period that hit the widely. This built my Interest in teaching more. During my Trip around the City of Nairobi I would bump into Tourists who would most of the time ask for directions within the city, and with time we would spend more time teaching them words in Swahili across the city.Since then, teaching and helping others know Swahili has been my passion. your smile is my pleasure. My teaching style is going to rely on the specific student's Interest. A student who would generally want to learn Swahili language in order to be able to relate well with a foreign colleague or relate well when they come visiting the eastern African Countries. My lessons are going to be very interactive and in video form, via zoom with practical examples and practical assignments. I would be available whenever my students have any interesting questions on Swahili terms with concrete answers. See you! Inshalah!My teaching material

Maureen is very professional and friendly teacher. She prepared interesting material for the lesson and explained all the details about different forms and uses of the words and phrases. The class with Maureen was both fun and productive.
