About Me

Hello! My name is Lamzira, I live in Georgia and I am a native speaker of the Georgian and Russian languages. I am a qualified teacher of English and Russian. I teach the English language in public school for every level of students and I have been tutoring the English and Russian languages for 25 years. I have been teaching Georgian to Russian and American adults who would like to study the Georgian language for communication. I have experience of tutoring Peace Corps Volunteers in Georgian and Russian.

Me as a Teacher

During my lessons I focus on conversational language and pronunciation. Teaching and working with children and adults is a joy to me, and I am so pleased to be able to work online! Part of my goal as an educator is to spark curiosity in the minds of students. During my time in your lesson, I hope to excite students about the world of learning Georgian. At our first lesson I need to hear your clear goal why you need our classes and I can plan my lessons according to students’ personal needs and wishes. It will be completely individual program that will suit your needs and will be perfect for you.

My lessons & teaching style

My primary goal is to teach students to speak fluently without embarrassment .You will learn not only vocabulary and grammar but the world of Georgian culture will be opened for you. Besides discussing interesting topics we will listen to Georgian songs, watch movies and talk a lot about Georgian culture and traditions. I love meeting new people from around the world and speak about any topic they are interested in : traditions, art, movies, music, etc

Lamzira is very friendly and seems to be a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher. She asked a lot of questions to understand my needs and perfectly adjusted to my level. I loved the materials that we used in class, they're really helpful for visual lerners like me and well structured too.
