About Me

italki teacher since Aug 31, 2020

I was born and raised in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, therefore, I have it with me the Northern accent which is considered as a standard accent. Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in Economics and Management in Prague, Czech Republic. I often spend my spare time watching movies, reading classic literature, playing chess, or sometimes baking.

Me as a Teacher

When I was in my junior year of college, I did my volunteering as an English teacher for children in the rural area of Thailand for 2 months, Sisaket province to be specific. After I graduated from college, I used to work as a teaching assistant for native English teachers and myself as well as teaching English for Vietnamese children for 2 years. I have been enjoying teaching people the languages that I know and I have gained many experiences from those years.

My lessons & teaching style

In my opinion, studying always needs to be active and creative. I always try to encourage my students to speak as much as possible, and most importantly, I try to switch the methods from time to time so the lessons are always new and less boring. The topics should always be based on students' interests to make them most excited to speak. Additionally, the best way to make students remember the lessons is to make students a teacher.
