About Me

Hi folks! My name is Sascha and I was born in Dortmund, a city in the Ruhr area, but now I live in the world metropolis Mexico City. I received my magister degree in medieval history, modern and contemporary history and religious studies from the University of Münster. I'm a culturally open-minded and quite unbiased person by nature that use to cooperate with people from different cultures and to get to know them better. My main interest is the cultures of this world, but I am also a passionate music lover and enjoy watching international feature films and television series. Other hobbies include hiking, photography, role playing games, industrial culture and professional wrestling.

Me as a Teacher

Although I am not a trained teacher, I can nevertheless help you learn German as a native-speaking tutor. Since I studied German studies for a few semesters and in my other study programmes I have also attended courses with didactic and pedagogical contents, this knowledge will definitely be of use to you. Everyone is invited to take part in my classes to improve their existing German language skills in a relaxed atmosphere together with me. Language lessons should be fun to motivate the language learner. * I am not accepting kids as my students * So, please feel free to try out my teaching in a trial lesson, and and when it suits, we can talk about many interesting topics.

My lessons & teaching style

* I do not offer structured language lessons like a professional teacher * I can send you teaching material for preparation in advance of a lesson, or you can also send your own material to me so that I can plan the lessons. Whether we will work with or without material depends entirely on your preferences. During my lessons you will take the active role and I will only interrupt your flow of speech in situations I consider appropriate. I will make corrections in the chat window during our conversation, or I send them to you in form of exercises after the lesson.

Sascha ist so freudlich zum Reden. Vor dem Unterricht hatte ich Angst, dass wir keine Thema zu sprechen haben würden. Aber Sascha hat das Gespräch sehr gut geführt. Ich habe es wirklich genossen.
