About Me

So I heard you want to learn Italian, fantastico! If you’re searching for a dedicated, friendly and professional native tutor, then you don’t need to go any further. My curiosity is endless, I'm fascinated by others' outlook on life and culture. Having interesting conversations is one of the things that makes me feel alive. I love music and art in all its forms. I have a BA in Philosophy and I'm currently studying psychology, with a focus on clinical and educational psychology, the last one being very helpful for teaching. For the last couple of years, I’ve been helping people from different countries with their journey to Italian fluency. Read below to know more about how I will help you!

Me as a Teacher

My teaching values are: respect, encouragment and dedication to my students. I always try to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere during our time together. Our lessons are a space and time for you in which to take the risks of practicing and experimenting with the language you want to speak while receiving a kind and accurate feedback. . I make myself available for any doubts you might have between our lessons and I offer specific extra services to boost your learning process and tackle any difficulties you're facing in specific areas of the language (for example you can understand the language but you can't speak; sometimes the opposite can also occur).

My lessons & teaching style

I do my best to explain grammar and vocabulary within a familiar context so that you'll remember them easier. If necessary I'll help you with a bilingual approach, taking advantage of the knowleadge you already have of your native tongue. In my lessons we'll be using every type of material you can think of: videos and images; songs and audio recordings; textbooks, articles, novels and poetry; powerpoint presentations.
