Welcome to the Spanish Culture! ¡Hola! first of all, I want to congratulate you for deciding to learn a new language. My name is Valentina but you can call me Vale if you like. I´m 20 years old and counting, I grew up in a small city in Colombia called Valledupar, but 3 years ago I moved to the capital due to the University, currently I´m studying international relations and politics science because in the future I´d like to teach about economy and politics. I learned English when I was in High School and right now I´m learning French because I find beautiful the language and I´d to visit France someday. So as you can read I´m passionate about learning and teaching.

Me as a Teacher

Pronunciation is my favorite “hack”, before learning thousands of words with bad pronunciation, and your path will be a lot easier. It’s not so much about accent, but we really need to prioritize pronunciation, because your pronunciation is the pronunciation you expect to hear, Fix your pronunciation now, and you’ll be a lot happier! Now, I´ve been tutoring Spanish since the university to exchange students, because I love teaching Spanish and teaching about our culture to all those interested in this beautiful language. I´m upper- intermediate in English so we can switch in case you need it. And also because of my previous experience I´m used to hear different accents during my classes.

My lessons & teaching style

My main goal, if you decide to take my classes is to make you feel comfortable with the language in order to improve your skills. Beginners ＆ advanced speakers are welcome! How am I going to do it? Our classes will consist in an informal conversation between you and me about different topics where we will work on key aspects of your Spanish. 1.Your listening, when hearing a native Spanish speaker talking in real time. 2.Acquiring new useful words and phrases based on interesting topics 3.We will practice your speaking and pronunciation. Bonus: I´ll give you study material in case you want to keep practicing outside our classes ¡Te espero!
