About Me

Hi! My name is Emilia, and I am a native English speaker. I live in the East of England, in the city of Peterborough. I have always had a love for languages and different cultures. I enjoy reading, cooking and learning new skills. My favourite author is the English writer, Jane Austen. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to visit a lot of European countries; I have been able to share many fun experiences with new friends and try new cuisines. My favourite trip was the Czech Republic, as I was able to camp in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Me as a Teacher

I am TEFL trained. I am also a trained proofreader, which means I can help you with your English writing too. I am a very patient person: I am learning French, I understand the struggles and obstacles many people face when they learn a language. If you have any questions or problems with anything, please let me know as I would like to help you as best as I can. My friends and family say I quite a happy person, so I will always bring a smile to the lesson. :-)

My lessons & teaching style

I alter each lesson to suit each individual. Everyone is different and learns at a different pace. As I learn more about you and your goals, I will be able to tailor each lesson to suit your needs and future goals. I use a variety of resources, such as Google docs, so you can have these notes with you in between every lesson. In addition, I will give you homework assignments to help you work on what we discuss during the lesson. I look forward to meeting you!
