About Me

I am offering English conversation practice classes to everyone who would like to improve their speaking skills and get more confident in front of other people. I am a British citizen and finished an online English as a second language (ESL) course by Arizona State University. I also have a BA degree in Economics and Finance and I work in sport sponsorship. In my free time I like doing different sports such as swimming, running, mountain biking, hiking or rock climbing. But I also like travelling, catching up with friends and meeting people from different cultures.

Me as a Teacher

I am an easy-going person so I will make sure that students can practice speaking in a fun way. Speaking is a key skill that most English learners lack as they focus on grammar, vocabulary or reading. Although these skills are important too, they take the focus away from one of the most important factors when it comes to learning a language, which is speaking. Most of the time it is even easier to learn new words or phrases when we focus on speaking about different topics and life situations.

My lessons & teaching style

My classes are very relaxed. I like to use student-centred approach which means I would discuss with students what they would like to learn about and then I would tailor all the classes according to their needs. I believe that task-based language teaching is the easiest way to help students to get started. The classes are not about teaching grammar but I will correct it should it be required. Besides the conversation practice lessons, I would like to offer Business English classes as well, focusing on sales.
